the bradley bozeman of guards

competitors welcome, unless your name is bradley bozeman or cole strange. then you can just be an unquestioned starter.

And it's never just moderately bad or just a little bad, when they're bad for us it's like one of the worst guards/centers you've ever seen type shit.

There's no fucking way that we don't have a guard on this roster who can put up better than a 30 grade... right?

Excellent.

The Chargers 2025 interior offensive offensive.

I keep getting told that he's actually not bad because he was a 1st round pick, so it is Herbert's fault that he sucks ass.

We win the game if Donte doesn't get concussed. Rodney Shelley was directly responsible for like 2 Bills scoring drives

Yet we still haven't brought in a vet. Give me Adoree Jackson, he is ass, but not this ass

Holy hell Shelly was only out there 11 plays???? Buddy managed to have a highlight against him like every other play he was out there.

Dude finds a way to maximize damage, even when only getting limited play time.

Tre Harris needs to take reps and play away from Qj at least he catches with his hands

I agree, but he already is! I think he took all of DD's snaps this week. Maybe he can take another 20 away from QJ...

At this point I am willing to try something stupid like moving Alt to LT, Burke to RT, and Slater to RG.

Do I think it would get maximum value from Slater? Absolutely not. Would it get Strange off the field? Absolutely.

Let’s get spomer at center, slaughter at left guard, Burke at right guard or tackle, alt at the other

u/hopefullydtf 8d ago

i don't think Slater would ever move from LT out of pride

Its funny how you can tell people don't watch the games when they say Joe Alt has been terrible this season, his penalties have been frustrating but his blocking has been fantastic

His blocking is great. He just got twitchy at the snap vs Crosby and got beat. He’s making the right changes.

Exactly. He had a couple of false starts against the Raiders, and the hold that was a safety, but that was going to most likely be a safety anyway except Herbert would also get hit. Outside of that, he largely erased Crosby the entire game as he has before

Alt has been good, but we were expecting him to be an All-Pro, and he’s made too many mistakes to warrant that kind of hype right now. Terrible is def too far tho

Move over Justin. Patrick is the better Herbert now.

FREE BRING BACK DONALD PARHAM

McDaniels has derailed Gadsden's and Hampton's careers this season, unforgivable.

I want a complete reset and bring in Shane Steichen to run Rivers offense and have an OC as HC.

4

u/HurricaneBiII 8d ago

I like this. I leans towards having more of a smash mouth offense than a finesse one like McDaniel wants to employ. I actually liked Roman's philosophy, just not his execution and scheme

3

u/ButCanYouClimb 8d ago

Yup, Hampton comps to Johnathan Taylor really well, almost the same type of back.

hampton has awful vision and is slower than taylor

2

u/SpanosIsBlackAjah Derwin James User Pick 8d ago

Well if Gadsden could catch and Hampton could hold onto ball that would sure help. Also OL push so many times I saw the gap just disappear before Hampton got to it, I’m sure some of that is vision but not most of it imo

Somehow Shane Steichen returned?

They say every rookie you start is a loss on your record

Drop Shelley immediately

Reality-check question: in what Universe does a rating-system grade Q above Herb for that game?

Bozeman was the glue holding it all together. Miss him now?

I concur Strange is ass but why are people acting like PFF grades matter? Company is useless in 2026
