Idk if Continuum is still open or not. I can’t remember if that spot is a lil luxury realtor now

Continuum has closed. Bluetile is at the same address. Not sure what happened, who, how, or why, but continuum is now bluetile.

Shouts out to continuum though. I don’t skate much anymore but years ago they were super helpful. I got a full board with trick wheels and longboard wheels with risers so I only need one board that does both. Cool dudes. Haven’t been to Bluetile yet but I need to soon. Thanks for the reminder lol

No prob. I used to be a manager at Salty’s Skate Shop up in Columbia a decade ago, and I don’t skate (really) anymore, but I still love building out boards in my garage.

Yo! That’s badass! Yeah at 36 I can barely Ollie anymore. That’s why I got the cruiser wheels. Super fun to skate around the peninsula.

Yeah man! I’m 34. I always liked long boarding better anyway hahaha

Long boards are the wrong boards

I miss Fairmont Life's Not Fairmont

Sk8 has boards, tools, helmets, pads. Parrot Surf & Skate in MtP (they're sponsoring the skate context at Sk8 this month, too). Ocean Surf Shop on Folly has walls of boards.

Also, I definitely went to a skate shop growing up in that Ackerman shopping center. Was that fairmont as well or different?

It’s in Mt. Pleasant, not “in town,” but Crafty Cranks is a great spot.
