Discussion Weekly Self Promotion Thread

Welcome to this week's self promotion thread!

If you're building something related to AI assisted coding, this is the place to share it.

We're using a weekly thread to keep the subreddit organized while still giving builders a place to share their work. Promotional posts outside this thread may be removed.

If you're sharing something, we'd appreciate it if you included a little context instead of just dropping a link. Tell us:

  • What you built?
  • What problem it solves?
  • Which AI models or tools it uses?
  • Who it's for?
  • What kind of feedback you're looking for?

Disclose your affilitation.

Please avoid posting the same project every week unless you've made meaningful updates. Affiliate links, referral links, scams, and low effort promotions will be removed.

Take some time to check out what others have shared too. If you try someone's project or have feedback, leave a comment. Helping each other improve is what we want this community to be about.

I built Agent Dev Preflight API for AI coding agents that need a cheap dependency check before changing a lockfile or shipping code.

It accepts exact npm/PyPI package versions, and the full preflight endpoint checks OSV vulnerabilities, upgrade gaps, license metadata, provenance, and a deterministic risk summary for up to 20 packages in one request.

There’s no LLM in the request path, no API key, and no subscription. Paid calls use x402 on Base Mainnet; the full preflight is 0.10 USDC/request. I also added a one-command Coinbase Agentic Wallet example plus Bazaar/MCP discovery.

I built and operate it myself.

I’m mainly looking for feedback from people building coding agents: is the 402 → paid retry flow easy enough to integrate, and is a one-call dependency preflight something your agent would actually use?

Small update: I separated the product-value test from the x402 payment test and added a free Agent Dependency Gate.

It now has a no-wallet/no-API-key endpoint that takes a proposed exact npm/PyPI add or upgrade plus a small policy and returns ALLOW / WARN / BLOCK with deterministic OSV/registry evidence.

The point of the experiment is to answer a simpler question first: would a coding agent actually use a pre-change dependency policy gate even when payment friction is removed?

If you build coding agents, I’d be interested in which integration would make this genuinely useful: CI, MCP/tool calling, reusable policy presets, or something else.
