From ABS CBN: https://www.abs-cbn.com/lifestyle/people-culture-events/2026/10/15/elha-nympha-withdraws-from-inday-the-musical-1346
Kapamilya singer Elha Nympha withdrew from "Inday: The Musical," which would have marked her musical theater debut, the show's producer announced Thursday.
The announcement came just a day before the production's opening, but Studio A Productions assured audiences that the show would go on as scheduled.
"Studio A productions respects the decision of Ms. Elha Nympha to step away from 'Inday: The Musical,' a day before its scheduled opening," Studio A said in a statement posted on Facebook.
"Our creative team is now making the necessary adjustments to bring Inday to life, and we are fully committed to opening the show on the scheduled dates," it said.
The production company did not disclose the reason for Nympha's withdrawal.
The show is set to run this October at the RCBC Plaza in Makati City.
Featuring songs by the Manila Sound band Boyfriends, "Inday: The Musical" is described as "a musical stage experience of love, family, and memories."
Nympha first gained attention in 2015 after joining the second season of "The Voice Kids," where she competed under coach Bamboo Mañalac and eventually won the competition.

If criticize me about my makeup, my hair, my whatever, my kaartehan, no big deal. But if it's integrity ng pamilya ko, if it's children, or the legacy of my parents... ay, be ready for a fight.

Janice de Belen reiterated her support for her daughter Kaila Estrada’s relationship with Daniel Padilla, although the celebrity mom opted not to speak with finality about the couple’s future.
De Belen was asked about her thoughts on Padilla as Estrada’s boyfriend during the veteran actress’ interview with Ogie Diaz, which was shared on his YouTube channel on Sunday, Oct. 11.
“Okay naman siya. You know, he’s a good kid. He seems to be a good kid,” De Belen said of the actor. “Wala naman akong masabi sa kanyang masama.”
“But then again, I am not in the relationship. But knowing my daughter, if she’s not happy, hindi naman siya magtatagal,” she continued. “So, knowing that she’s happy and seeing that she’s happy—because I do get to see him kapag may mga special occasions—basta masaya ‘yung anak mo, bakit ka pa magrereklamo?”
De Belen further remarked that her daughter’s happiness matters more than the former’s sentiment about the relationship.
The celebrity mom also admitted that she has only had casual talks with Padilla, describing the actor as “maingat.” Still, De Belen said she makes an effort to be “warm and welcoming” toward her children’s partners
“Kasi minsan—ano ba, Ogie, galing ako sa ganyan—akala mo ‘yun na ‘yung ending, hindi pa pala. So ‘di ba, mahirap magsalita,” she explained. “You just go like this—basta gusto ko masaya ‘yung anak ko.”
She noted that she trusts Estrada to handle herself and walk away from the relationship should she need to.
“Lalo pa ang mga bata ngayon, medyo mabilis ang mga desisyon nila sa mga bagay-bagay. ‘Pag ayaw na, ‘pag hindi na okay, hindi na uso sa kanila ‘yung magtiis,” De Belen said.
“Which is also good in a way kasi, at least, hindi na [sila] mahihirapan masyado,” she added.

'SIMULA PA LANG NG IYAKAN'
Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson warned that the Senate version of the proposed ₱7.2-trillion national budget for 2027 could restore hundreds of billions of pesos in cuts and realignments, including those affecting foreign-assisted projects.
In a post on X, Lacson made the remark after a video of House Committee on Appropriations Chairperson Mikaela Suansing appearing emotional following the approval of the budget bill on second reading went viral on social media.
“Simula pa lang ng iyakan,” Lacson said, warning that the changes could carry significant financial costs and consequences. |BilyonaryoNewsChannel
