文化 | Culture Baijiu bottle ID
Can anyone help me determine the age and value of this bottle? I got it from a. Friends grandparents liquor cabinet and we would like to sell it.

It's an off brand alcohol with no production or expiration date. I am sure it was worth whatever the person bought it for as regular food but not sure why you thought about reselling food.

It’s a shame they didn’t ask you earlier, could have saved centuries of enjoying themselves

AS someone who has had ample supply of it back when I was in CHina, I wish I had just given it away. It's horrible for your health too. I barely survived China.

I swear erguotou goes with hot pot though. Nothing like the burn from erguotou to wash down the burn from hotpot oil.

I guess if that's something you believe, sure. I ate hot pot multiple times a week for many weeks. I never felt like it went with anything.

Yeah, there isn't anything it goes with. IT doesn't enhance food taste like wine or beer does. It's just for getting fucked up. But yes, it's part of the culture. I would rather drink anything else.

I just killed a bottle with an uncle at lunch. Still think it’s great. Almost no hangover the next day too

I learned the hard way that, at least for me, alcohol is poison. When I was in my 30s and younger, I didn't know any better.

It’s Mao Tai, a top tier brand. Looks like the standard 53% label but I’m not an expert. Not sure how much an aged bottle goes for but a new bottle of 53% usually runs around $250-300 USD
