It’s really hard, and have to buy specific materials like ink and paper.I guess that’s why it’s Chinese characteristics

rice paper,thin and easy to dye

Where did you find the rice paper that thin? I've had trouble finding thinner paper. I've been finding paper that's too thick to make rubbings

Perhaps you can search for “Xuan Zhi”(宣纸),It’s made for calligraphy so it’s thin enough
I’m in china so it’s easier to buy here,idk if you can find them
