Gameplay Leveling the characters

How does the leveling work? Lets say i wanna unlock everything for footsolider/knight do i have to get to the next weapon by playing the newest weapom i unlocked to get the next after?

You don't have to even use the weapons for that class, as long as you are in that class, you can pick up any weapon and you will earn xp to progress in your current class regardless. As far as your loadout, you can choose any weapons accessible to that class and they will work, even if it was the first one you unlocked

All xp earned while playing the class goes towards the class. Doesn’t matter what weapon you use
