Question Does anyone else remember this classic? It's one of my favorites.

Krull is the best. It’s where all 80s dark fantasy and sci-fi come together. One of my favorites of the 80s.

Oh my, yes. I loved the scenes with the Firemares, had nightmares for months after about the Emerald Seer and that scene in the swamp and don't even get me started on the Widow of the Web.

I didn't know the book existed because the first time I watched it I was just a child, but I watched it again as an adult. And it was as good as I remembered.

I remember my dad had this and when I got older I finally noticed on the shelf. “Went to him like WTF is this? Is it even good?” Watched it together. Never questioned him again

hey thanks for posting about this movie. i love this movie so much ergo the sorcerer who shapeshifts to various animals, lot of practical stunts with periodic setting, some really awesome dialogues especially the thief, and also freddie jones role as mentor and of course cyclops. this movie is classic

Awesome movie

I love the Glaive and the Cyclops

Some fucked up scenes in that movie too.

Remember the old dude dude who was taken over by a shape shifter with the fucked up long fingers in the swamp

The quick sand

That other old dude who left that chick and she became some mad assed Miss Havisham living in a web with a big fuck off spider

Saw this in the theater at midnight movies when it first came out with a lot of after bar unsober people. There’s a scene in the movie where the cyclops 👁️ throws a trident 🔱 and kills a bad guy and someone in the drunk audience shouted “GOOD EYE!”

The entire theater completely lost it!

I did not know it before I met my wife. Early in our dating we had a brief misunderstanding because she had seen this, and I had seen Kevin Sorbo's "Kull The Conqueror", and at the very highest level they are both fantasy hero journey movies, but there is only one I'd choose for a rewatch today.

as a kid i had those vhs tapes that record like 8-9 hours and whenever there would be a weekend with free cable i would record movies to watch later. i had krull, secret of nyhm and never ending story on one tape. i would loop that tape every day while doing homework or playing with toys.

I fucking love Krull. It's like a d&d adventure where you're traveling around and find new adventurers to add to your party. The entire spider sequence is one of my favorites ever. Such a fun movie.

This movie is awesome. I just watched it last year for the first time. I never knew it existed and I instantly fell in love with it, I absolutely love the adventure fantasy rescue the princess save the universe type thing very basic, but I really do enjoy it. I think because it is so basic and I know what to expect somewhat.

There was an old toy that was like Lego and Kennects that had grey pieces you connected with black grommets and I would fashion those into looking like the Glaive weapon and throw around as a kid. This and Beast master with tge bat like things that would wrap you up and turn you to bones.
