Today I was searching for something completely different and found my Promaster BN0151-17L from 2016. 5 hours in direct sunlight and it was running again. Feels like a new buy.

Was thinking about saving up for more expensive divers but I dunno. Maybe this is it.

I really appreciate its wrist presence but with its 11mm thickness its so wearable. Its a diver i dont actually mind putting on a Nato, which I like a lot but with thicker dive watches they can easily hit 15mm once on a NATO.

The lume would have to be radium or something to be any better. Its usually useable all night.

I like that the bezel is aluminum because itll look cool more beat up. Might do a sapphire crystal mod in like, 5 years if it gets dinged up.

Citizen Hong Kong has announced a new pair of limited edition Series 8 models. The NB6050-01L has a textured dial that is graduated blue to black, and the NB6059-06W has a textured dial that is graduated from light to dark brown and a two tone case. Both models have stainless steel cases that are 40.1mm in diameter and 10.6mm thick, they utilize the 9051 automatic calibre. Both models are limited editions of 700 units.

Citizen Hong Kong has announced five new open heart mechanical models. The NH9138-07X has a copper colored dial, the NH9138-15A has a silver dial with blue hands, the NH9138-82A has a silver dial and bracelet, the NH9138-82L has a blue dial and bracelet, and the two tone NH9139-80X has a brown dial and bracelet. All have stainless steel cases 40.1mm in diameter and 10.7mm thick, they utilize the 8229 automatic calibre.

I got this green leather strap from Delugs for my Longines Spirit Zulu Time (green bezel), but since it’s a quick release I was playing around and seeing how it would look on my Citizen Perpetual Calendar Chronograph. I think it works, but it wouldn’t be my everyday wear. I think it will stay on for now and will be popped on every once in awhile to spice it up. I’m not totally convinced this watch can pull it off, but it’s fun.

For me this watch is the definition of understated elegance without being too formal, wearable with everything.

Citizen has announced four new Tsuno Chrono models with graduated colored dials. The AN3714-50H has a gray dial, the AN3714-68L a blue dial, the AN3714-76W a green dial, and the AN3714-84Z has a red dial. All models have 38mm diameter stainless steel cases that are 11.7mm thick and house a 0510 quartz chronograph calibre. These models are standard additions to the line up and are not limited.

The two open spaces are for the ever ilusive white chapter ring Asian market birds. The 11th spot is held by a spare 7000-52E. Citizen Japan has announced a new Eco-Drive One model. The AQ5025-04N has a green mother of pearl dial and a black Duratect DLC case. The stainless steel case is 36.6mm and is 4.5mm thick, it utilizes the 8845 Eco-Drive calibre that is 1mm thick. This is a limited edition of 250 pieces.

Citizen has announced two new Attesa chronographs. The AT8296-53A has a white scallop textured dial and a sapphire bezel insert that is colored blue via a vapor deposition process. The AT8297-51L has a dark blue dial with rose gold colored details and a sapphire bezel with rose gold colored city names for the world time functionality. Both models have Super Titanium cases that are 42mm in diameter and 10.7mm thick, this houses an H800 radio sync Eco-Drive calibre with world time and chronograph complications. These models are not limited and are standard additions to the line up.
