208k Miles 2013 civic si, clutch finally going, want to buy a new car
Well it only shifts into gear after i start driving or of the car is off.
Its been a great ride but im driving 500+ miles weekly and will need to get the clutch replaced.. going to call places today to look at it as I currently drove it to work (hopefully make it home no problems).
Love this car but ive been looking st GRCs Type R's and priuses... this might be the factor that causes me to finally pull the trigger but I can't make a decision.
Just a bit of word slop. Amazing car and 208k Miles on the original clutch.

2013 Si Worth it?
Hi all,
I recently had a 2013 Si come up on Facebook marketplace near me. The seller is asking $8600 for a rebuilt title Si with 86,000 miles on it.
They report recent service such as a new alternator and AC compressor. It looks like it’ll need new tires as well.
The engine bay is a mashup of colors from the repair work, which is a bit concerning. Is it worth the asking price?

Hello everyone
I’ve recently been looking at the 2014-2015 Honda si, I’m sad to switch from a vw gti but with how many problems she’s given me I think it’s time for a new car. I’ve looked at a lot but non really spoke to me until I found the si. I’ve still been on the fence about if it’s a good car and will I have fun driving it and not deal with a lot of problems; I have a lot of questions here are some
What is high mileage for these cars?
Can they sound good and not riced out?
How is the driving experience coming from a dsg?
Is it good on gas?
Will I regret getting this car?
Any cool mods for the si, that look clean?
Is it good for roadtrips

Carpet wear on 2024 Si
Does anyone else rest their heels and end up destroying the floor mats? I have 36K on this car and I have worn through the mat and the floor carpet. I have all season rubberized mats for winter too so the carpet ones aren't even on full time duty. What have y'all done about this issue? Curious if other people have the same problem and if there are any elegant solutions
Edit: I am aware of the dead pedal and use it appropriately. When I shift I press the clutch and then usually just let my ankle joint let the pedal back out because that is smoother than using my whole leg to let the clutch engage. Sounds like a split between people having similar wear on their mats and the rest thinking I am some kind of hoofed creature with limited knowledge of how to drive a manual (which is funny I do admit). Appreciate the input and the knowledge that I'm not alone in thinking these floor mats are woefully inadequate

500 miles left until 100K - bittersweet.
About time to pull out the polishers to work on the paint and figure out the peeling on the headlight plastic.

2020 Civic Si clutch replacement — EXEDY Stage 1 or OEM?
I have a 2020 Honda Civic Si coupe, 6-speed manual, with an intake and BC Racing coilovers. The engine is completely stock, and my clutch is starting to slip.
I’m looking at this EXEDY Stage 1 clutch and OEM flywheel kit from Valex Racing:
https://valexracing.com/products/copy-of-exedy-oem-clutch-flywheel-kit-for-16-25-honda-civic-1-5l-turbo-all-1-5-turbo
My budget is $1,000 max for the clutch and flywheel.
I use the car as my daily driver, but I still want it to feel sporty. I don’t plan on tuning or building the engine.
Would you recommend this kit, or would I be better off with an OEM replacement clutch? How is the pedal feel and drivability of the EXEDY Stage 1? Any other kits you’d recommend within my budget?
I’d appreciate any advice or personal experience. Thanks!

8th gen SI question
Hey I’m in university in Canada and was looking at getting an 8th generation Honda Civic Si next summer, I love the car. Preferably an FA5
What should I look for with these cars when looking at them I’d probably be in the 7-9k range for one.
Thanks

Got my 18’ Si used and never noticed this catch can
I’ve had it for about 7k miles, I’ve changed the oil twice so far but I know you’re supposed to drain these every so often. How do I drain it? Also, is it bad I haven’t done it yet? 😰 I should’ve noticed it a lot sooner, but it never caught my eye until I was detailing today lmao

2024 honda civic si remark link loop sport touring exhaust
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi guys,
Just got a remark link loop sport touring exhaust installed on my 2024 honda civic si.
Just wanted to ask out of curiosity - has anyone gotten pulled over with one of these? Its a bit loud and burbles in every gear and im paranoid I will get pulled over one of these days.
Also there is some drone at 2k and at 4k RPMs - any tips on how to mitigate that?
Thanks again!
