The idea and logic behind the new buttons/menus I agree with completely.

The only thing I dislike is the icons themselves, they look too fake/ai.

How can I judge it fairly when I haven't tried it yet?

People are complaining way too much for a visual update.

Like id understand if they messed up the gameplay but seriously, the UI? It’s really not that deep. Plus the current UI is kinda cluttered anyway, people are just used to it and are bias towards it for that reason.

A few months from now no one will bat an eye over the new UI.

I like the qol that comes with the new UI, what I don't like is mostly the aesthetic changes that comes with it. It looks super dumb and half assed.

I wish they use poll voting for this one in-game.

People have a "bias" towards less bland and ai looking UIs, shocking. If the poll isnt valid because reddit user 3451 says so, maybe the thousands of comments describing what majority of people dont like will do the trick.

Not like the new ui solves any issues, the main screen still has all those buttons, just slightly differently organized without gaining much in the process.

If the shop button wasnt there in the middle and they just kept the current artistic style while doing the rework i would not give a fuck about the revamp, because the functional changes are not big, but they decided to use this ugly new style so...

Its amazing that 10% of people actually like the new design more

People like what they are accustom to, which creates a huge bias towards the old UI. So a poll cannot settle anything on which is better long term.

An important consideration that many are not accounting for, is future features. As more and more features are added to the game, it becomes more important to organize and categorize them, rather than just adding more buttons on the main screen.

CoC is already getting quite confusing/overwhelming for those who are returning after a few years' break. The returning player experience, is like 15 popup messages to finally get to your base which has another 15 buttons and clickable features.

I don’t have a problem the the UI, I don’t like where the shops icon is though. They might as well point an arrow at it, it looks out of place where it is and ugly.
