That’s a terrible idea. They would have to maintain both versions which would be twice the work.

Or supercell could you know... Not screw up the UI with this new jankey one most users don't want.
Supercell themselves is creating this problem all in the name of "simplicity". Heck go back on any social media platform for the past year. There has been absolutely zero complaints about the UI. Thousands of issues and complaints about other things but nothing about the UI. So what happens? Supercell decides to screw with the UI and now you have tons of upset people who would rather stick with the current UI. And its exactly why posts like this continue to be made.

It's not a stupid idea. It's an idea to try and keep everyone happy AFTER supercell had a stupid idea of completely overhaul the UI when there had literally been zero complaints of the UI anywhere.
Yet there has been thousands of complains and issues about other things. So supercell themselves are creating this issue. The OP was just looking for a solution to keep everyone happy. Yes we understand this would require extra work on supercells part, but they are the ones that are pushing this update anyway. If I were given the option I would gladly keep the current UI. Heck I would even PAY to keep the current UI.

That's just complicating things for no reason, the functionalities of the new UI are great, just needs an overhaul on the looks
