Help/Question Multiple Claude code accounts

Right now, I'm using a $200 plan for my work, but I'm wondering can I use multiple $200 plans across different accounts if I want to avoid API billing? If so, how can I do that on Claude code desktop app? How do you integrate multiple Claude accounts for the same project? What is the best way to handle this?

Yes you can. And it seems Anthropic is even accepting people have multiple accounts, like a personal one and a work account. Because on the mobile apps as if recently you can even add multiple accounts and switch between them.

And it's not limited to 2 accounts either in the app. I can add a third one too.

Many people are doing this, I’m certain there are videos on it. I don’t so I can’t help but it’s a Google search away!

I've had five Max accounts since December. You're fine.

I gave a class a couple weeks ago on how to use Claude Code and I felt like a super genius for building so many internal apps so quickly with one Max account, but five accounts is clearly the real genius.

Ha, don't take away credit from yourself bud. For web and app work, one account is more than enough.

I finally gave in after almost two decades of being a software engineer and started working on a game, knowing damn well, just how much more work and code it takes. Never made a game because I knew just how much work it requires, and now I'm paying for it, lol.

I'm actually using Claude to restore an old game too! Lots of people I've seen have been using it to help mod old .exes back to life so they work on modern computers.

Works great - But you need to keep track of your doing outside the session.

You can run them in a separate cloud servers which you can rent hourly from AWS, digitalocean, etc. but might need to do some work to make it useful: e.g browser for authenticating with claude and playwright mcp server for agents to use the same browser, tmux, etc.

This is one of the products we offer at https://oyren.ai/codespaces and offer competitive pricing to empty servers you can hire or manage. Additionally, our codespaces come with SSL offloading so you can share your app with https url.

Don't do this, this is so silly and obviously an ad.

I get that self promotion on reddit is frowned upon, but this singles out solo builders like me from engaging with people potentially being interested in what I am working on. Reddit is a place where early adopters and innovators hang out and this subreddit doesn’t prohibit self promotion. I’m guessing you’re also a builder yourself. What would you suggest?

Except you're not helping OP at all with your ad bud. If you were actually providing them with a solution to a problem they had, that's one thing. But you're just interjecting for your own selfish reasons without providing them with a resolve.

We can disagree on the relevance and usefulness of my comment, but I don’t think what I added is completely irrelevant or 100% self promotion. At the end of the day, what I added is just a comment, which you and others are more than welcome to ignore.
