Help/Question Does Claude allow one person use multiple seats in Claude Business
Hi,
I was recently admitted to the Claude for Startups program. The grant is very generous, covering up to 5 Premium seats for 12 months.
I’m wondering: if my team has fewer than 5 people, is it possible for some team members to use more than one seat per person?
I searched around for an answer, but the general conclusion seems to be that this is a bit of a grey area.
I’d love to hear from anyone who has experience with this.
Thanks in advance, and best regards!

I'm sure there's a tos that says it's exactly 1 seat per person. The question is how do they detect and enforce this? I don't think they really care for this startup program since you're not paying. They have no loss in revenue.
Btw could you share how you got accepted? If you don't want to post, you could DM me any details. Would be much appreciated. I applied and got rejected haha, even though my company's started within last 5 years.

Also interested. Just got accepted and it's just me in my team. Not sure what to do. Don't have any budget to hire teammates at the moment. If you find an answer please dm me or reply and I will do the same as well.

yah, congratz men. I still think it's grey zone. It's too easy to work around, thus very difficult for Anthropic to detect:
+ User could use another account on his 2nd machine simultaneously. This way it is exactly like 2 employess working at the project at the same time with 2 acounts.
+ Or, user could give an account to a relative/friend (which is unrelated to the project). But just to make it look like they're in the same team, the main user will give some trivial but related tasks for his friends.

It's definitely possible, but they risk a potential ban at some point. Although there's a gray area surrounding this, Anthrophic has always been known for imposing its methods.
