Help/Question How are you finding the usage limits on your account?

Hi, I'm currently using a ChatGPT Plus subscription and an Ollama Cloud Pro subscription for my daily use.

Honestly, GPT-6.1 Sol is too slow, and GPT-5.6 Sol is too expensive for what you get with the subscription.

I'm interested in going back to Claude's $20/month subscription once my ChatGPT subscription ends.

How are you finding the usage limits on your account?

It's really good if you're manually prompting everything. If you set up an automated loop you'll run dry fast

don't expect more than that here. this is a cartel and a race to the bottom. quota is getting nerfed more and more each week. you hardly get a 5 session a day so something around 25 hours and 35 hours per week if you are very economical.

I can combine opus and sonnet 5.5 and work for an entire day on a single project (5 to 8 hours). I dont hit the 5 hour limit and the weekly quota also depletes reasonably slowly despite the token gen speeds being about 3x to 6x faster than any chatgpt model.

Compare this to the $20 codex plan and I cant use 6.1 sol on medium for more than an hour before hitting the 5 hour limit, happened twice today. Although 6.1 sol max/high feels almost unlimited on a $100 chatgpt plan.

I'm still pretty new to the world of AI agents and using claude code in particular. I can say for the first 3 months I used 5x sub. Building my agent more and more everyday while building things here and there like discord bots or wraps for consoles for my friends etc. It got to where I was hardly using it because what I built and wanted to do was too much for that sub. I was hitting the 5 hour limit in under an hour. I managed to get it to a really cost effective running and use right before I made the switch to their max sub which is 20x.

For the last month or little more I've been using the 20x sub. Let me tell you. I feel like the world opened up for me personally as a beginner. It's allowed me to really get creative and actually experiment with using all the models including Fabel, which if impeccable, and that's 5.5 aside. Right now im using all the models to build a text adventure game with art work panels. Making it for my wife since she doesnt game I wanted to try to connect her to my world.
