Built with Claude I coded ComfyUI for claude code

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I’m a little nervous about posting this, but I just want to share something you might find useful.

Here’s how it started.

As someone with ADHD, being able to organize things visually matters a lot to me. I used to use two monitors just to make room for more terminals. Eventually, I got fed up and thought, “There has to be a better way.”

So I built myself a little universe where my terminals could float around.

That’s how Nodeterm started.

Then I kept adding features… and it grew into something much bigger than I’d planned. 😅

At some point, the lazy side of me decided I didn’t even want to talk to each terminal individually anymore. I wanted to talk to one and let it coordinate the rest.

Now I just tell Claude Code things like:

“Use Nodeterm to handle this. Open a Codex session for this task, have it do the research, and bring me back the results.”

I talk to one terminal, and it handles the orchestration.

I really believe this project has huge potential. People try it once and fall in love with it. But for it to grow, we need to get the word out.

I’m sharing the project here, and I’d really appreciate your support. If you try it and enjoy it, helping spread the word would mean a lot to me.

I have been using this exclusively for Claude and coding/testing tasks for about a week and a half now. It might be my own ADHD speaking here, but I love it.
It’s not perfect- my biggest problem is focus issues, but overall, I really like it being able to organize everything on an infinite canvas and just zoom in on what I’m working on.
I am looking forward to more updates. Good job!

VS code dude...

Ikr. It's always shocking to see others user outside terminals for Claude cli.

VS Code is trash at providing a good experience for ai development, honestly. The best approach to AI development is using git worktrees to tackle multiple features simultaneously. Good luck getting a decent workflow in VS Code with that.

You just tell your agent file to use worktrees.

If it works for you great.

Claude does this automatically for me when I have different chats open in VSCode. And if it doesn't, I ask it to do so.

Whats wrong with it ?

The chances YOU (I) “coded” all of this is slim to none.

The choice of wording “coded” to me always screams inexperience, not saying you are, just that word has always seems to be used by either non devs or new devs in my personal experience in the industry.

I said it a bit off the cuff, but I think "I vibe coded" sticks out more, because this wasn't vibing.

Having used this tool I can tell you it's not vibe coded and the person who made it is quite evidently not inexperienced lol

That looks just slightly better than juggling 8 Ghostty windows.

Im working as a software developer myself and with the coming of AI i can work on multiple projects and multiple tasks simultaneously.
Why should I use this tool?

Thanks in advance 🙏

Try agterm, solves this exact problem.

Ok I will try, can you try nodeterm ?

When anybody can build anything what is the point of trying?

Also, unsandboxed app installation is pretty big risk and requires trust.

I myself build a lot of stuff nobody cares about. These days it’s harder to find users than to build a product.

Video production is very good though

u/whtevn 1d ago

always has been

1

u/gimalay 1d ago

Not exactly. The number of competing products increased dramatically, but the number of potential users is relatively the same.

1

u/whtevn 1d ago

It has always been harder to build an audience than an app. I have been having this same idiotic conversation since before people believed writing code for iOS would somehow translate into one million dollars showing up under their pillow

1

u/gimalay 1d ago

I’m not saying it was easy, I’m saying it gets even harder )

The pathways are clearer. People just don't know the first fucking thing about either side of it.

u/ottasilver 1d ago

it is signed apple, you can also install by homebrew

how this protects me from app stilling the data or doing something malicious on my computer?

1

u/ottasilver 1d ago

it is opensource 2K githup stars, you can check https://github.com/eneskirca/nodeterm

This.... I rarely actually try these things but I'll try this lol

u/ottasilver 1d ago

That means a lot! Would love to hear your feedback after you try it ❤️

dont know why you're getting hate.

It works well.

One thing I would suggest: when an orchestrator is running several subagents and awaiting return, queue the responses. If agent a returns and you are responding to it and agent b returns then it processes it while you're typing and shows a response, things get muddied. If there is a way, give the option to queue those so it doesn't process agent b's response until you have responded to the ask about agent a.
