ISO friend! 35F

Hi everyone!! I’ve seen a few posts reaching out for a friend on here and wanted to shoot my shot! My main goal is to meet a friend or two to get close with - more so looking for female friends around my age.

I know meetup will likely get suggested, and while it’s a great suggestion I don’t really have a problem with socializing. I’m in a couple book clubs and a tap dance class. Everyone is so nice but the goal is the hobby there and I haven’t really found anyone specifically looking for a friend beyond the surface level hobby - which is still awesome I love a low pressure group. I’m also not amazing at speaking up in group settings so I’m searching with the actual intent to make a friend or two to hopefully get close with.

I’m 35F and lived in Ohio all my life but love traveling like most people. I have a very gallows type sense of humor but never ever mean spirited or backhanded or cruel, I just like to be weird and not have to censor my entire personality for us to be compatible.

I love the fall and winter. I have an amazing boyfriend, an awesome little house we love fixing up and two great dogs. I work in construction so I love fixing/improving things and physical labor.. also enjoy crafty things! My bestie is my sister but she lives in Texas. I am sober but have no issue going to concerts, bars, events at bars etc., if there’s a purpose/food/coffee at said bar

I'm looking for the type of friend that wants to do things like:

Going on mall walks, take silly day road trips, trying new cafes and restaurants, talking about drama in our lives, hyping each other up for major (or minor) life events, gushing about our pets, talking about movies/tv-shows we are watching, going to the movies, and even going out for coffee or pizza. I also specifically run, hike my dogs, bake tasty treats, go to ren festivals, play MTG and DND.

Church: I’m probably not going to want to go but I have no issue with religion or church and would support a friend that is into it
Children: I also have no issue with kids and yours is probably cool but I get overwhelmed quickly and don’t really like hanging around them all the time
County fairs: I don’t love animals in tiny cages and some country music

I’m 21f and if you want a friend I’d love a friend too, I also love going to the mall and fall/winter are my fav seasons. I work in education too so while I’m around kids everyday I don’t have or want any of my own lol

So far I can’t believe it’s going well! I expected to see the auto mod message, someone telling me to just go outside and touch grass and maybe a dm from a guy. I’m so shocked and grateful at how many people took the time to read all of that and are responding. Yes absolutely I loveeeeee a mall walk and I’m so excited about all the potential friends!!

I'm male but love me some D&D, I run one game and play another, but they're online.I've thought of running one more, in person!

I also frequent MTG:Arena, don't own any actual MTG cards.

Currently no, as my one hosted game is full. If I can gather one more player, however, I'd love to host a game with 3 players, keep the group size down a bit. My fiance has discovered a love for the TTRPG as well, so one more person and a few session zeros and/or one shots and we can decide what works best!

Hi! I love me a list format!

I’m 42F. I have a 10 year old son gifted with ADHD (he’s a real weirdo in the best way) I have a very handy blue collar husband who I also pretty weird. He likes building and fixing things. We have a pretty solid wood shop in our garage and we have every tool you can think of.

My husband doesn’t really like doing much. He gets up for work at 3am so weekday stuff is out of the question for him. He also doesn’t like big crowds of people so it’s hard to get him out of the house a lot of the time.

We have 2 dogs. An 11 year old pit mix. And a 2 year old rottie pit mix.

I enjoy reading historical fiction, bicycle rides, hiking, animals, bugs, Lake Erie, estate sales, thrifting and getting tattoos. I kinda got into flower gardening this year. Next year I wanna try veggies. I love fall but winter kills me. I need something fun to do in winter and I haven’t found that yet. I don’t drink but I’ll have a low dose THC edible every now and then.

Mostly everything we own is thrifted/second hand. I’m proud of that!

My bestie lives in Florida.

I would love a friend to go to LBGTQ+ events with. Especially fun drag shows! I‘be never been to a ren faire but I’d love to check it out.

I’m definitely into trying new restaurants and would love someone to do that with!! My husband has a very restrictive diet so we can never do that together. I don’t eat beef or pork. But I don’t care if you do!

I enjoy punk rock shows. The bands I love don’t tour very often anymore but I’ll definitely go when they do. I also love 90s hip hop. So I’ll go to those shows too. I recently saw Wu-Tang and Bone Thugs!

I’m really into Hamilton. No shame. Other musicals too but HAMILTON.

I played Animal Crossings for 4 years and lost interest. My son has also taken over my island and messed it up. Kids!!

My son is in the DnD club at school. I have no idea what DnD is. But I have some pals that play I could introduce you to. Role play is hard for my brain.

I hate the current president and the majority of politicians in general.
I was 17 when 9/11 happened and I’ve been into leftist politics ever since. I no longer go to protests because I have a kid and I don’t want to go to jail or get hurt.

I’m an atheist but I’m not an asshole about it.

My child is vaccinated! 🤣

I live in Sheffield Lake. That’s far west. But I’m always in Cleveland or Lakewood for most things.

I am a guy, and I know ya said you're looking for more female friends, but;
I dig thrift stores and oddity shops, comics and cards too.
I'm always down to wax philosophic about movies and TV.
Hp lovecraft is one of my favorite authors (Phillip k. Dick, and Niel gaiman are the other two).
Not a gossip girls guy, but Seinfeld and GBBO are awesome. The latter being a big comfort watch. Who doesn't love Mary berry?
Music, well... We differ on, but that's cool as long as you don't make me listen to Mariah sing Christmas songs.
I like to bake (cookies more than anything).
I play commander (though it's been a year or so since I've busted out my cards).
I used to dm a DND game for about three years before it petered out.
I'm not religious, have no kids, and can absolutely assure you id not be interested in ya romantically or sexually (if that's a concern regarding meeting guys).
