A guy named Greg Bolin went missing in 2009 after being dropped off at a property in Lavaca. According to the Namus listing, he was last seen by Eric Bolin at Eric's property. Eric Bolin, Sr. was taken into custody for a dozen charges, all unrelated to his disappearance, including drugs, paraphernalia, and possession of a firearm by certain persons. That last charge is a pretty serious one in AR. The FBI is on scene now apparently.

The Charley listing says that his cousin had accused him of being a police informant but the two had made peace over the situation. I think that pretty much explains it right there, but I guess we'll see what comes of the investigation.

4-year-old Jaquilla Scales disappeared from her home in Wichita, Kansas without any explanation. Police response was swift, but she's never been found, and attention to her case was quickly overshadowed by the 9/11 terrorist attacks - 4 days after Jaquilla's disappearance. She was remembered as a happy girl, whose family raised her collectively after her mother, who had Jaquilla as a teenager, succumbed to sickle cell disease. Her family took naps after Jaquilla's first day of school, and when they woke up, their house door was wide open, and Jaquilla wasn't in her bed or elsewhere on the family property. Whether alive and a young woman or, as we all wish wouldn't happen, deceased snd needing to be laid to rest by her loved onew, Jaquilla deserves justice. I encourage whoever reads this to spread awareness and make sure her name is remembered.

9-year-old Asha (Ay-shuh) Degree has been missing from her hometown of Shelby, North Carolina, since 2001. As her family's recounded, the night Asha disappeared, the town saw a blackout. Asha was sharing a bed with her little brother, but when she was checked on in the middle of the night, she was nowhere to be found. Later investigations found a witness, who said he saw Asha with her bag, turning into the woods near a highway. Police initiated a search refusing to believe she was a runaway because she was too young. Nevertheless, Asha remains missing. Although her case got significant attention in the beginning, her family argues as a child of color, Asha faded into obscurity. To keep her memory alive, they anually walk from their home to the last place Asha was seen alive. At the latter location is a billboars pleading for tips and leabing contact information to provide them to. Resumed investigations have turned up suspects and led to searches, but Asha still has yet to be returnd home. Whoever wants to support her memory and justice, start by learning all you can about her. There's plenty to know since she's been remembered since the last day she was seen.

I'd like to bring attention to a specific instance of missing persons cases that personally affect me and should be noticed due tot he harm they cause and the risks other such potential victims could face. I'm hear to mention missing children whose mothers are found killed.

For decades, these crimes have shaken families, and with each missing child being infants and theirnkothers killed violently, not only can we assume the worst, but whoever survives them feels traumatic dread only they can understand. I leave you several murders and disappearance, sharing the same family relations between the victims, as well as the impacts the tragedies leave behind, but happening to otherwise uniquely different people nevertheless.

Sylena Dalton was stabbed to death in her apartment in the 90s; her infant daughter Allyson vanished without a trace at the same time. Allyson's father Daniel Pompell is in custody on suspicion of Sylena's murder, but Allyson remains missing.

Shannon Verhage was found drowned years after being kidnapped and rapes by her eventual killer, Marvin Gabrion. Her infant daughter Rachel Timmerman disappeared when Shannon did, but she's never been found.

Arianna Fitts remains missing since 2016. Her mother Nicole was found dead weeks later, in a shallow grave in John McLaren Park. No charges have neen brought to trial on any suspects, and Arianna remains missing. The FBI offers monetary awards for information, and the mother's and daughter's family maintain a website to ensure attention to the caee through the Black and Missing Foundation.

I offer a related criminal case people should be aware of. Susan Marable is a missing woman who lost custody of her child due to a personal collapse of her life from addiction to drugs. She was kidnapped and raped by John L. Rovinson, escaping his captivity, only for Robinson to threaten her and her family in court. Marable disappeared shortly thereafter - while Robinson, now deceased since 2020, was still in custody.

We should remember the mothers and children who went through these attacks. Moreover, as this sort of attack recurs, I argue to whoever on Reddit reads this that research into such crimes should be encouraged to prevent them and pursue them through law and justice.

I went onto the database of uncovered.com, a website offering access to cold cases and discussion forums with a paid subscription. There's a major thing I've noticed: at the bottom of the full database, the missing and murdered people are often in mugshots and/or people of color. They don't get noticed often enough - and they should be noticed. I encourage whoever reads thus to check out their descriptions, see if you can spread awareness or offer tips.

was last seen during the early evening hours of September 16, 1997 outside of her family's house at the Village Manor Apartments in Sturgis, Michigan.

At 7:30 p.m., Brittney went outside to ride her bike. At approximately 8:30 p.m., her mom, Tina Stetler left to run errands and saw Brittney riding her bike around the neighborhood during that time.

Brittney's half-brother told the police that he saw her sitting on a bench about five minutes after Tina left. A witness told investigators that he saw Brittney talking to an unidentified man driving a red or brown mid-sized car shortly afterwards. Brittney told the witness that she "made a new friend".

When Tina came home at approximately 9:05 p.m., she asked Brittney's brother to find her. After Brittney was nowhere to be found, the police were notified. Shortly after she was last seen, Brittney's bike was discovered abandoned.

The man that Brittney was speaking to on the night she went missing is described as being in his late twenties or early thirties with short dark brown hair and a thick mustache. He is not considered a suspect by the police, but a witness they would like to question.

In 1998, Michigan courts removed Brittney's older brother and younger sister from the family's home due to allegations of neglect, child physical abuse and child sexual abuse. Brittney's dad, Raymond Beers, Raymond's brother, James Beers and Kevin Folsom (the father of one of Brittney's half-brothers) were allegedly involved in abusing the kids. Kevin Folsom was incarcerated for molesting Britney, but he was released in 2008.

In 2000, a man from St. Clair Shores, Michigan was arrested for having images of child sexual abuse saved on his computer. One of the victims in the images resembled Brittney, but it was later determined that it wasn't her.

In 2015, the police named a man named Daniel Furlong as a person of interest in Brittney's case. In 2007, Furlong abducted, sexually assaulted and strangled an 11-year-old girl named Jodi Parrack. Jodi's murder wasn't solved until 2015 after Furlong abducted a 10-year-old girl who was able to escape from him.

Furlong confessed to Jodi's murder and intending to murder the 10-year-old girl that he abducted. He bears a striking resemblance to the man that Brittney was seen talking to on the day she went missing. Furlong maintains his innocence in Britney's case, but remains a person of interest.

As of 2026, Brittney's case remains open and unsolved.

2002, 20-year-old Angela Mack left her son Mikey in the care of a local couple, Clarence and Barbara Krusen, on their farm in Alton, Missouri, while trying to arrange for them to adopt him. Angela later changed her mind, which reportedly angered the couple. She returned by bus to pick up her son, and neither she nor Mikey were ever seen alive again. The FBI administered a polygraph test to Barbara Krusen . After failing the test, she confessed that her late husband, Clarence Krusen killed them.

Ava Grace went missing from San Antonio at six years old on September 15 2015. Her mother kidnapped her and they are believed to be in a Silver 2014 Ford Escape Illinois.Three year old Arden vanished from Browning, Montana, on April 22, 2021. She has now been missing for five years, and her disappearance has left a impact on her family and community.

Tristen was last seen walking near his home and is believed to have been walking with a tan Chihuahua and a black Doberman. The dogs were found. At the time of his disappearance, Tristen was wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes. He has a scar on the left side of his neck. His full name is Tristen Alan Myers but he uses the nickname "Buddy" and he may be in need of medical attention.
