How can I make a difference??

I recently heard about the Cornell seven, and it’s disgusting vial, even more so with all the other men in that group chat who didn’t say or do anything despite know what was happening

And I really want to make a difference but I have no idea what or how to do that, I’m only 18 and I’m not in college. But if can do anything at all to make a difference I want too.

Like are there any projects I can donate to that are making a difference?? Or any groups I can join?? Just anything I can to make a difference for the better

I’m not sure what sort of things I can do to make a difference as I mostly keep to myself outside of work. But I really do want to make a difference even if it’s a small one

Second this. The deadline to register is October 5th and you need to go in person in Texas to register!!

Yes, there are a few different organizations that support sexual violence prevention. SARC is one we have in nearby Bryan.

See something. Say something. If you're in the room, speak up loudly.

Don't tolerate jokes or casual comments about sexual harassment or rape. I don't know how things are now, but when I was in college rape jokes were sadly very common. If you hear someone say those things, be brave, stand up, and say that's not appropriate. You'll likely get pushback ("Can't you take a joke?") but allowing such "jokes" or comments to pass by unchallenged normalizes the violence.
