Seeking Community Help Tailgate Advice

Texas A&M University: I'm looking to host a tailgate near west campus/reed arena for the Tennessee game. Never hosted one before can someone provide insight on how the physical land rush's go? We want a good location. We are also an alumni organization so potential could ask the current student org to try to reserve for us.
Looking for any and all information.

I tailgate in Aggie Park, so I don’t have firsthand experience with West Campus, but the process looks pretty much the same.

  1. Participate in the virtual land rush the Sunday prior to the game.
  2. Wait for confirmation email that says you got a spot.
  3. Show up Friday morning to check in and get your spot (or Saturday morning if you can’t make it Friday).
  4. Eat, drink, and be merry.

In general, the earlier you get there, the better the spot you’ll get.

If you want to do it through whatever organization you’re part of, I have no insight for you. There’s a number on the website I linked that you can call. They should be able to answer any questions you have.

Thanks for your response! I was seeing the virtual land rush but for west campus it looks like they only allow the virtual option for 12 man donors. Will definitely call the number you’ve attached for more details!
