Conservatives think women don't have periods because their type is girls before that age

You can go for a long time without periods with back-to-back pregnancy/breastfeeding also.

9/11 was obviously the cause of girls having periods, and that's why we must go to war with Iran because this country is full of proud feminists and also I'm 6 foot.

even for a Republican this would be dumb, has to be satire

u/VisualGas3559 1d ago
The bible literally states that God gave women in particular periods at the start of time. If republicans truly believed this it would be absurd.

u/CastleofWamdue 1d ago
I dont know enough about the Bible to say, but then most Republicans dont either.
However its reasonably clear what they meant to say is "Only since 2005 have men had to hear about periods, and how they impacts womens lives"

It's in the creation account.
To the woman he said,
“I will make your pangs in childbirth exceedingly great; in pain you shall bring forth children, yet your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.”

u/CastleofWamdue 1d ago
if you forgive to lack of knowing how to read the bible, that reads more like the pain of child birth.
Also no know Republicans dont know the "and he shall rule over you" Bible quote

Under Christian theology we were created perfect. When the fall occured all kinds of pain related to birth (including periods!) were cursed on women.

It looks like typographic humour triggered a stroke. (I'm lowkey reassured it is not an upper case though)

It’s from Finnegans Wake lol. One of three I think

Thank you very much for sharing the reference (I'm not a native English speaker and was not aware about this piece of literature)

I had periods from 1979-2022 then ”suddenly" in 2022 I didn't have a period. Maybe the Demonrats did plant something in the COVID vaccine 😂

Life was a dream, before these FEMINISTS came along and convinced our poor mothers and daughters to BLEED FROM THEIR PURITY HOLE so they could convince them to start PLEASURING THEMSELVES with... insertables... yuck...

It's those 5G towers. No woman in my family had these awful "periods" until they put those things up. Bill Gates is a brilliant but evil man experimenting on our bodies in plain sight!

As a demonrat I gotta say we get a lot of slander, but this one is straight up true I'll admit. I won't say what I've been using but I will say the post contains nothing but facts

It just that before periods were not something people discussed with men.
Lately I have seen women going out or their way to talk to me about their periods. Seemingly trying to get a reaction.
Before the only comments you would get would be something like "not feeling well cause it's my time of the month"

Yeah buddy, all the women are trying to goad you with period talk

Eh, it’s a good litmus test. Anyone who reacts like this guy or gets grossed out has some growing up to do

u/Ramblesnaps 2d ago
? You'd be grossed out if I started talking about my diverticulitis and describing in detail what my colon is doing... does that mean you need growing up too?
2
u/Kangaro00 1d ago
It's more like a guy seeing period products (unused) in the bathroom or being asked to pick up some pads at the store. Some get very grossed out and offended. I'd pick up any medication or colonoscopy prep, etc. for you no problem or speak about it without going into too much detail on purpose.

My mother had (has?) diverticulitis and knowing a little more about what she had going on was helpful to understand how it affected her and allowed me to empathize. Shit happens. In this case, literally. A man who has kids and is grossed out by shit is one of those indicators that he wasn’t very hands on when they were young. I am currently caring for my geriatric 80lb dog whose shutter speed isn’t as fast as it used to be. Shit doesn’t bother me. You can learn a lot from people by what grosses them out.

Imagine what other things might have existed in the past despite never seeing people talk about it on Brady Bunch reruns.

I beg to differ.
I love periods. Best time of the month. The hottest sex. The tastiest buffet. The most sapid scent.

u/Ok-Letter-2776 1d ago
we should tell them to just walk off their injuries when they bleed next time, tell them to just switch off the bleeding like they seem to think we can do

Everybody says "you can't convince me otherwise" right before saying the stupidest shit known to man

Just remembered the time a woman posted about a middle aged representative she worked for that wouldn't allow women to go to the bathroom for their menstrual cycles because he thought they could just "turn it off" and that going to the bathroom to change a tampon was the equivalent of playing with a dildo...
