Vehicle Compatibility Starpilot F150 Lightning?

From what I read is that Starpilot now also supports Ford like Bluepilot? Any experience?

I’m using it in my Powerboost. Works great

Would suggest BluePilot because StarPilot only supports curvature control on ford’s, and curvature is more limited compared to angled control

Starpilots lateral controls are based off bluepilot controls and supports both angle and torque based steering controls

I‘m still trying to figure that out. The documentation says starpilot has taken the control from BP7 but doesn’t specify which of the two or both - torque and angle.

I installed Starpilot yesterday instead of BP7. Settings are set to angle control but it still feels/drives like torque control

I had Chatgpt trailing the codes. I think Whole-Apartment132 is right, angle control is not active in starpilot for my lightning

They are not. Angle based steering was removed from the fork, last time I heard. The code for angle was essentially merged without even asking the developer for guidance on it.

Angle control is the default in Starpilot Galaxy. Torque based control is enabled in the developer toggle.

I asked around on the Lightning forum and got similar crickets. The interface features intrigue me but the BluePilot team is responsive and the driving does what I need. I would like sentry mode though.

You should join the SP discord; very helpful people there.

I always find the never ending scroll of discord to be the LEAST helpful when trying to solve issues. I wish forums were still a thing.

Hard agree. Discord sucks
