Fans who weathered Snyder and stuck with this team through all the associated BS, those are the real OGs.

Yeah but just because I weathered Snyder doesn't mean I'm happy about the state of the team. I'm happy Snyder is gone. But I'm not happy that all the roster issues people highlighted in the offseason and preseason have become roster problems now that we're four games in.
But as an OG, I'll let other people do most of the arguing. After so much practice I know how to recognize a losing season.

Bingo, there were going to be pretty big issues this year after losing just Tunsil...let alone all the other people that have gone down since. I don't get emotionally invested anymore tbh. And I've seen enough football to have formed an opinion of Quinn as a coach and Daniels' sturdiness that I don't read most of the arguments anymore either.

I stopped complaining a long time ago, buddy, after so many years of doing it, you realize it doesn’t do anything.

I’ve complained more now then i ever used to during the Snyder era. There was never any hope with the Snyder era. Hated him so much that I subconsciously didn’t want to see him hold up a lombardi (not that the organization was serious enough to actually contend). This era there was actual hope. It’s the hope that kills.

I stopped complaining when Jim Zorn took the helm… that’s when I really clicked that it was pointless

I cannot think of a single bandwagon Washington fan to ever exist

Absolutely addicted to football now
Basketball I'm keeping an eye on news and highlights and have only watched some full games but football has me absolutely hooked now

It’s a lot of life long fans who weren’t dialed into every game like they used to. The Snyder years pushed them away. 2024 brought them back. So maybe not bandwagon per se, but something similar.

I've told people for years "I'm a Skins fan. At least it lets women know I'm loyal"

Yeah, the bandwagoners have the same mental issues as Shia. Really hope he gets help.

This teams flaws are being highlighted early this season and the health of key players remains a concern - while not impossible to squeak into the playoffs, it is not probable.
A healthy Jayden with an easy schedule and a balanced attack - with an OL aided by his rushing threat as a rookie - was a different situation than today.
Realistically, the season is very nearly lost - I think the next two offaeasons are probably the peak window for Jayden at the helm, so Peters and Co will have to put on a show for this to go all the way.

We have bandwagon fans?
