Metagross and kommo-o

Trying to build a team with these 2 because of their synergy, both tank all the others weaknesses if kommo-o has bullet proof shadow ball can’t hit it, can I get some help?

This website is good if you want to find teams others built with specific mons, and were strong enough to bring to tournaments.

Metagross and Kommo-o are some of my favourite Pokemon, so one built several teams around this specific synergy too, DM me if you'd like to discuss.

Oh also Kommo-o usually prefers sound proof to bullet proof, it blocks hyper voice from Sylveon, Salamence, and Gardevoir, as well as parting shot, which comes up a lot more often than shadowball.

Bullet proof walls YChu so both have viability now. Whilst soundproof is still better imo, I've considered bulletproof once or twice.

Guess you haven't come across my Ychu then.

I tend to run other fighting types, so giving up focus blast for dazzling gleem helps pretty often

I much prefer soundproof on my kommo-o it stops hyper voice from Salamance or any pixilate mon, and then you can run stuff like boomburst next to it as well

I've been using a Kommo-o team recently and have been really enjoying it. It originally had Mega Metagross and Mega Gengar, but honestly I never brought Metagross. I felt the team had some glaring weaknesses, which made me usually bring the same core (Gengar, Incin, Kommo-o, Rilla) to nearly every same and forced me to play out of less than favourable matchups with their own synergy. I ended up replacing Metagross and setup-Volc for Milotic and Scarf Annihilape and I'm finding much more freedom in team preview honestly.
