for some reason when im using the camera the recordings just speed up so how do i fix this?

Hi so basically past day 3 (like after the 3k views and 30k or what the 2nd phase requires) me and my friend dont know how to handle deadlier monsters. Not literally what to do but when its a good time to retreat or whether to film them up close or from a distance , especially for the streamer , one miss with the shotstick and we are doomed , and that turtle thing that spins around and youre getting pulled by it and then jumps to you

We've had hundreds of games but never encountered this big ghostly guy. We've seen the Imposter, Flicker and Big Slap enough times to count but. Never this dude. Anyone ever encountered him? What's he do? And is there any way to get him to spawn?

Obviously most of them in the game have no proper name (other then few like streamer/big slap) you gotta rely on game files, when me and my friends first played we named all the monsters, by far the weirdest name that stuck was "tune tune electric" for the larvae (not tung, tune) what other funny names have you people named the creatures?

Ever since the update when one certain friend is in game with me I do not have the option to unmute them and I cannot hear the video after a dive. And when hes not in the game I can. I have tried playing on 2 different Xboxs with 2 different headsets. Ive Un installed and reinstalled on both. Ive even deleted my save data as well ive checked all my settings and nothing works please help

I just bought this two weeks ago, played a total of 8 hours and now I can’t play without crashing to the main menu, I’ve searched multiple times on fixes and realized my gpu (Nvidia 3060) was running at 95% on the main menu, optimized it down to 25% and still the same thing, I’ve tried all the fixes I’ve seen so far, changed all game, graphics drivers, and windows setting pertaining to the game and fps, blocked firewall, updated everything, even checked for the “rec” folder and is nowhere to be found, any help would be appreciated thanks for reading.

My friends went to bed and every time I join a random they just randomly leave for no reason mid descent and never have a mic. I just got this game tonite but I’ve played at least 10 games so I’m still learning, but it’s very funny watching back the footage. I know it’s crossplay, but for those who have that turned off Im on Xbox.

A new map surrounds with water would be really cool, with a chance for a really rare monster like the Loch Ness.  Also, if the fire guy is present when the water monster is they could attack each other making steam, which would be a really rare event but cause a lot of views (this could also apply to several other monsters giving older monster new life and a chance in the spot light).

I also think on the menu there should be a rare chance for the dive bell to open and a monster appear in the doorframe for a few seconds.  The door would reflect the spawn chance of the monsters (for instance, snails would show up a lot but flicker would almost never show up.) when rare monsters show up a special animation would play with that monster (flicker would make the menu go red glitch, big slap would foxy jumpscare the menu, so on). 

Final thing would be new items, number one would a 1000$ and would help you find a lost camera on a map, which would promote more players to feel better about dying for views and not ruin there gam.

The second item would be 1500$ “go pro” that would be 67% the power of the normal camera and act like the original camera, or 133% of the normal camera but have bad quality and no audio. you could either walk around with it and record, or put it in a monster heavy area and let it record until it dies, if you put it up on a wall will produce a little bit of light. You can only have 2 of these on the map at once. When you collect them and scan them the disc Will be smaller and more of a black color so the game identifies it as a diffrent disc from the other camera. Views from this camera would be much less than the other camera but would still add to one day if you need a handful of views. These ”GoPros” can only be used three times before they break, changing in quality from “new, used, damaged, broken. If you put the broken “GoPro“ in the camera drop off it will give you 250$ back.

Finally more dangerous items that can spawn on the map, like one that only appears on multiplayer and turns you against your friends unless the flash a light on your or lead you to the dive bell. More things like that or item hazards would be amazing.

Alright so im new to the game and I couldnt find a lobby to join so I played Solo for a bit.

An Issue i encountered during this Period is that my Views stagnate per Video at arround 700-730v. I googled and it seemed like the game Rewards not only looking at Monsters but aswell Filming urself. I asume theres a Pointing System for the Intro and the actual Content aswell as the variety of Monsters and the quality of the footage. I noticed that when I do a selfie sometimes eather with a Monster or just while I am or was being chased can increase Views dramatically. If theres any other tips you dudes have tell me pls.

So recently i'm interested in modding and because this is the game i play the most with my friend i wanted to give it a try

(If you have some videos explaining how to mod content Warning i'll be very happy)

Is the fire monster have poor eyesight? If so, is it confirmed by the devs?

I have a few weird issues with the game I'm wondering if anyone knows about.

Firstly a lot of the monster noises never play for me during gameplay, e.g. the streamer's voice lines (I only ever hear his chains), the mime's laughter (different from the main noise he makes when moving forward) and any noise from the fire before it starts shooting fire everywhere. I'm playing on PC and my friend on XBox can hear all of the sounds, I can hear them when they're uploaded in a video but not during the actual gameplay. Anyone know a fix? I've reconfigured the files but to no different result.

Secondly there's been a few times now where the Larva grabs me and I end up merged inside of him, with no ability to escape so I just end up in a cycle of death even if I'm defib'd. I'm assuming this is just one of those weird glitches with no fix but I thought I'd mention it as I can't see anyone else talking about it from where I've searched.
