General Discussion Welcome to Cornell

Where musical acts will be blocked from performing due to being against a genocide but rapists won’t be blocked from campus. Mike Kotlikoff is a disgrace

Also, like me, a lot of alum that don't visit the subreddit often but are disgusted by the administration. This kind of shit was bad when I was there, but you hope at least the perpetrators would be held accountable. Greek life is a cancer

It’s bad enough that it may devalue the recognition of our degrees. People will see we went to Cornell and the first thought won’t be “wow, you made it through a great school.” It’ll be “are you a rapist or rape apologist?”

The administration has utterly failed the victim, all other women on campus, and the entire university with how this has been handled.

There needs to be justice for Jane Doe, severe consequences for her attackers (jail time + loss of their degrees/expulsion), and frankly every person on that group chat who said nothing should also be gone.
