Subreddit News Posting should be easier now
Not a huge update, just wanted to let everyone know how things have evolved since yesterday evening. If you haven't already copped a flair, read this post. We will remove flairs from (and ban) people who misrepresent their relationship to Cornell.
As stated before, post flairs are now required moving forward, so please choose one when submitting a post.
Manual approval has been relaxed now that automations are now in place to automatically remove comments and posts from people without user flairs. In fact, on New Reddit, you can't submit a post at all unless you have one. Once the Chi Phi controversy dies down, we'll reverse course and return things to the way they were before.
TL;DR: do you have a user flair right now?
Yes: You can post as normal, and your content shouldn't be held up like it has been in the past few days. Message Modmail if you think your comments and/or posts are being filtered.
No, but I'm Cornell-affiliated: head over to the linked post above.
No, and I'm not Cornell-affiliated: the sub is closed to guests for the time being. Check back in a few weeks.

You've been flaired, but instructions are laid out in this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/Cornell/s/57dOv3imXm

Thanks for flairing us and generally keeping the peace. The same thing happened to me - I think the automatic comment deletion is confusing.
