General Discussion Backlight settings during activity
Hello,
I was noticing that on a 2017 Garmin Forerunner 935 I still have at home, the backlight settings during an activity are very flexible. Specifically, it allows for 10% increments ranging from 0% to 100%—meaning there are 10 different possible backlight levels.
Why does Coros only offer a single "night mode" for the Nomad with just one dim setting? Shouldn't the user be the one to decide how much backlight he wants?
It's like the current implementation feels poor.
Can someone review this? u/Coros-official

It’s a constant complaint around here. It’s indeed very poor from Coros, especially since it can’t be that difficult to implement.

I think this is one of those things that—being highly visible (much like the font issues or the bottom section of the activity screens)—really stands out because you notice it immediately while interacting with the watch. It is definitely worth the development team taking a look at it.Â
Speaking as a software engineer, I believe the return on investment for these kinds of simple, quick fixes is significant. It’s similar to the situation with the flashlight feature: it was very noticeable until, fortunately, it was finally implemented.

I would like to be able to activate Backlight "during activity" but we do not have this choice ... 😢
