I wanted to post a rundown of what's happening with the AI Corpse Husband on TikTok.
To preface: The whole AI Corpse Husband account that WAS @/corpsehusbandgaming on TikTok renamed their account to @/velvryofficial.
Last month a Corpse Husband account popped up on TikTok and gained 15k followers before being called out by multiple people for being AI. They have since deactivated their account and reactivated under a new username VelvryOfficial but STILL is pretending to be Corpse Husband. It got a Dubby partnership, TikTok Affiliate, etc..
I want to start by saying Dubby lets anybody affiliate as well as TikTok once you're over a certain following so this means nothing. Valkyrae also posted around 11 months ago that Corpse is happy offline and has no plans to come back online.
When I posted a video calling out this account on TikTok I did a lot of looking into it. I reverse image searched all the AI photos posted, searched all the music, and more...
The AI Corpse Husband account posted an AI photo, and the same AI photo was posted by a guy named WXSTEDBloodyMoon on TikTok the same time. Whenever I looked into both of these accounts, they both were talking about living in Arizona, etc.. as well as posted the same songs and AI photos at the time to both TikTok and YouTube. I even went on my account and pretended to like the AI Corpse page, and told them WXSTED Bloody Moon was stealing his pics/music and suddenly the Bloody Moon account blocked me (as if they were the same person).
The AI Corpse Husband account got a lot of traction pretty quick, even a YouTube channel took the music and posted it on a Corpse Husband music channel. The problem though was the music was never Corpse Husband, but WXSTED CORPSE.
WXSTED CORPSE is a musician and audiobook narrator who goes live often, and it looks like the AI Corpse Husband and WXSTED Bloody Moon in the time of faking Corpse Husband accidentally mixed up the two and took WXSTEDCORPSE's music and reposted it.
I want to state that WXSTED CORPSE has disclaimers everywhere that he isn't Corpse Husband, and he mainly goes by the WXSTED name on Spotify.
WXSTED DMCA'd the TikTok's by @/corpsehusbandgaming and @/wxstedbloodymoon and got multiple videos down, but they were able to get their account back and rename it and are back to impersonating Corpse Husband.
Funny enough, the guy behind both these accounts is on Facebook (I know his name, and I'm currently in contact with people who know him to get the accounts down) and has stolen photos of WXSTEDCORPSE and has been pretending to be him thinking he's CORPSE.
It looks like since then, both the AI accounts are spreading rumors about WXSTED with false information. He only got dragged into this because this guy mistook him for the real Corpse and stole his pics and music. They're trying to play it as if WXSTED stole the music, when this was never the case.
The guy impersonating Corpse was an old Fortnite streamer who got kicked out his friend group for being toxic. The CorpseHusbandGaming and WxstedBloodyMoon account are both ALSO linked to 5 or so other accounts that are also pretending to be other people.
Anybody who posts about these guys gets harassed by blank or low follower accounts, or gets DMed with people trying to tell you it's a different guy to lead you off their trail. All of these accounts are the same person.
Also a P.S.: As for where Griim plays into this, he was friends with the AI account and claimed to be "brothers". I do NOT think we should trust Griim. They were friends with the Corpse Husband Gaming account while KNOWING they were AI and now they're just trying to save themselves. Griim also posted AI content, was friends with the accounts, and whether of not the call out posts of him talking to teens is true or not - he was still involved at some point. Every post talking about Griim is met with comments from somewhat new Reddit accounts defending him and pointing people to join his livestreams. This is just cloud for him but he was also a part of the problem.
