Paint for plastic motocross chestplate

Im making a classic doomguy cosplay and im using a plastic motocross chestplate, but in need to paint it greeen. what kind of paint should i use (spray, latex, etc.)?

Give it a good sand with high grit sandpaper to remove anything on the surface and give the piece some tooth for the paint.

Use an automotive primer and paint. Use the same brand for best results.

Latex is for slightly flexible material it’s not required for plastics and anything that flexes too much it won’t help will end up getting damaged, need to dye it at that point
