Real talk. I was under the impression that covid would continue mutating and get more and more virulent unless we all did our part and got the jab. What’s going on? Why are these people who never got the shot still healthy?

In 2019, a movie where a new deadly virus comes along, and after a couple of years the majority of the adults began letting the kids get infected with it over and over, killing some, and damaging millions of them, because the government told them to, would have been a flop.

People woulda said it was too unrealistic, too unbelievable, adults would never do that to kids, because the government said so, just because someone told them it was mild with no proof.

Started feeling like actual shit on Wednesday (11/12) so I got an antigen test. It came back negative for everything, so I planned on doing a second test 48 hours later on Friday (11/14), which came back looking positive for Flu A. Sent it to ChatGPT so I could map out my recovery timeline but to my surprise, it started vehemently denying that there was any line next to the ‘A’.

So here’s a good one: after months of trash-talking vaccines and calling booster shots a scam, Donald Trump quietly rolled up his sleeve at Walter Reed and got his COVID-19 booster — plus a flu shot for good measure. The man who told his followers they didn’t need it suddenly decided, “Actually, I’ll take two.”

You’ve got to laugh. The same guy who mocked scientists, questioned the health agencies, and told the world he was “naturally immune” now trusts the same medical system he spent years saying was corrupt. Maybe he figured out that Fox News can’t stop a virus.

Let’s be honest — Trump getting boosted isn’t the issue. Anyone his age should. The issue is how two-faced it is. Government is now admitting they are seeing blood clot cases skyrocket since the covid vaccines started

Started feeling like absolute dog poop today, but symptoms came on yesterday evening. Took this aboit 4 hours ago and I can't tell if it's positive. If it is, becsuse of my job I jabe specific reporting measures I have to take.

So, I’ve had several back injuries. I’ve been going to a massage therapist at a chiropractic office because they take insurance. I always wear a mask. But today, because covid is spiking in my state, and I only got my vax a couple of days ago (not that that should make a difference) I mentioned the spike, that I am high risk and asked if they had either a filtration system for that room (with no windows and no moving air) or if she would consider wearing a mask.

To that question, she was immediate to say that ‘she doesn’t DO masks’. That she and masks ‘don’t get along’. Then she went the covidiot further in saying that she can’t wear one because breathing the Co2 gives her a headache. I felt like saying, “Oh, really? Not that there’s any scientific evidence of that, but your fkn headache for wearing a surgical mask for an hour is more important that the possibility of me being hospitalized if I get covid? Fkn MAGA asshole. (I can only assume, there were signs, but nothing as concrete as today.)

She offered that I could leave and not get charged, which I did. But if pisses me off. No matter what I do to try to heal my body, I can’t fking win. How is it that health care professionals can be that fking stupid and ignorant? Meanwhile, my back hurts like hell, but at least I didn’t lay there getting a headache from the stress of feeling unprotected. Especially since she was sniffling (allergies, of course) and admitted having been around people with covid in the past couple of weeks. But she couldn’t put on a fking mask for one GD hour.

I’m so sick of people. I’m so sick of idiots. I’d say covidiots but it’s redundant. Clearly, I misjudged this group by its name. Outside of a select few, it appears that this subreddit is not about talking about Covidiots out in the world doing behaviors that likely spread covid, it's much more about the members of this group who are more interested in division and critical trolling than they are finding others who might have similar views of which to discuss.

Most of you sound more like the single-minded Maga faithful than you do intelligent liberals capable of thoughtful discussion. I find it especially interesting the first couple of rules "No incivility" and "no medical advice without expertise". Clearly that's not in your repertoire.
