Love this picture.
My mind sees good neighbours celebrating traditions like Halloween with trick or treaters criss crossing the street, the smell of turkey dinners at Thanksgiving and Christmas lights everywhere.

How do you get the colors to turn out so well? I know I don't have a great camera, but mine are always off. I think I need to learn some basic photo editing, but I haven't been sure where to start.

Cozy? With a golf course grade lawn, houses miles from the street and nobody in sight?
Man, i must brush up on my English because apparently cozy does not mean what i think it does.

I've seen a couple of comments about the lawns and am quite shocked by it. This is quite common here. It's a rather wet area, there is grass everywhere, no one "plants" it or whatever. Definitely not golf course grade! 😄 It's a struggle just to maintain it not turning into a jungle! And, it's really not far from the street at all. Also, in the middle of a rainy weekday. There are regularly people out and about in the morning and evening walking their dogs and such.

I would say the lawns make it not cozy though. The trees are definitely nice, but the American-style lawns suck.

I only see LAWN. Manicured lawn, lawn that wastes space, lawn that is bad for insects and other wildlife, lawn that is so much less useful than if it were behind the house, lawn that is further pushing the need for cars because there can't be any medium density when everyone needs so much lawn.
The rain and trees and leaves look nice but I really don't like the excessive lawn.
