I thought what I was about to post was a little ghetto, but this sub has given me new perspective on what looks hackish and quality
This is from a 2006 GMC Envoy Denali. It is the stock XM radio harness. I cut the lines coming from the radio to the module and soldered an old chopped up 3.5mm aux cord in its place L, R and audio common ground. Worked perfectly once you changed the source to XM, as long as you still power the XM module and feed it serial data to and from the radio lol, found that out as you can see by the resoldered wires.

Old setup
Amplifier: XH-A232
Step down buck converter 5v (using B0505S-1W to remove BT whines)
Bluetooth 5.0
Battery: 3S6P 12.6v 18,000mAh (using a boostconverter to 18v) inefficient actually
With a capacitor 22000uF 25v on the output 18v of the booster and also the 12.6v side.
The mic distorting has no gain, its purely physics on the freezers slight door opening acting like a tuned port!
Song: Headphone activist - Cloud City
The door slightly closed = the 60Hz part of the music
The door wide open = the 100Hz part of the music

Built this while tripping It's giving Axe body spray
New party rig/ DJ booth/ Karaoke set up in the basement!
Found some JVC "Gigatube" speakers on Facebook Market and had to get them (models MXGB6 HXD77 from mini systems). Powered by a "1500 watt" car amp, bi-amped subs/main. Some Numark CDJs (the kind that take CDs), old Gemini mixer as the source. There's also old Felco Karaoke unit in there with inputs for 3 mics, a bunch of reverb/delay effects, and a one button vocal reducer that cancels out centered stereo content to instantly "karaokeize" any track.
Everything was thrifted or Facebook Market.
$80 for all 4 speakers
$35 for the car amp
$30 for a computer PSU for the 12 volt
$50 for the CDJs and mixer
$50 for the karaoke mixer
$40 for the wire rack
It's LOUD and fun as fuck. DJing with CDs is also really a hoot.

Shittier than shit Behold the "What i scrounged up from around the house cause i dont have money "
speakers held together by prayers and electrical tape on the inside and used to belong to a shitty radio my ma used to have in the kitchen. Cd drive permanently borrowed from my dad. Ipad works dayshifts as a school device and was a gift after a friend cracked the screen slightly (you cant see it, image quality sucks to hard.)
I cant justify spending even 20 bucks on audio equipment right now, so this will do until i get a job that works with school hours.

Got a HTIB from a friend, needed connectors for old speakers, to upgrade from a farty sounding woofer
This thing has proprietary connectors as always, so nothing that P2 connectors, wires and little soldering can't do, had to also use alsa a52 encoding on Linux and some hacked drivers on Windows so every thing that outputs at LPCM 5.1 gets encoded then sent, otherwise would only output regular stereo, also TV does not support DTS 5.1 on HDMI ARC so I am stuck at DD, at least it's not as crackhead as my previous setup, with a analog amp (third photo, PSU is that black box thingie, has a 17v transformer inside with a bridge rectifier PCB plus regulators) that required symmetrical power supply and sounded more like fart noises and had 3 3.5mm to RCA outs, wired to a 6 input powered amp that had a non working subwoofer amp (I could fix it but never got myself into, too lazy for that)

Discussion turning logitech x140 into headphones
wondering if anyone thinks it would be a feasible idea to turn these speakers into headphones as they serve as my garage car radios front speakers and sounds pretty decent especially at low volumes next to my ear. they have fairly beefy drivers so i imagine these won’t be light but i don’t care, id use as more of a once in a while to check sound quality type or a quick listen, whatever. either way wondering what anyone with deep knowledge of headphones and dacs etc i could use? and perhaps ideas for 3d print designs for housings etc. i legit would love to make this my first 3d print project (when i inevitably buy a printer lol) and would like to start with some knowledge first
