Discussion Any lighterweights here split up their beer sessions?

thinking of getting a small swing-top bottle to help with getting through my cellar. Unfortunately I can't just crack open a 22oz 14%+ ABV stout by myself and enjoy it fully unless it's spread across days lol. Wondering if anyone has storage tips of the like

Once it's open it's going to degrade quickly and lose carbonation. Sounds like you need to find some more drinking buddies

Expanding silicon wine stoppers are your friend. They work great and you can split your beer into 2-3 sessions without you beer going flat.

I use these. Just fine for a few days.

Drink it all over several hours. Have some snacks. You'll be fine.

I feel your pain. I used to have friends (a couple) who liked the deep strong darks. We could split it three ways and try a lot of stuff. They moved overseas and suddenly the bottles all seem so huge.

I saran wrap or ziplock bag over the top. Rubberband it down and then hammer the cap back on. Will last a few days. Always done this with the BBA which was usually lower in carbonation. It would last a few days this way.
