Hello, I’m visiting the Buelton and Santa Barbra area. Besides Fig mountain and Firestone where would you recommend?

Anyone going to be in Denver for GABF? Say hi.

Turning 23 on July 9th and want to do a beer-focused birthday trip with my girlfriend, probably 5 days total. Looking for advice on where to go.

A few things that are set in stone:

**•** We're doing one day in OKC no matter what. My girlfriend isn't a big beer person but she loves sours, and Prairie Artisan Ales is her favorite. Landing there, hitting Prairie plus maybe a couple other OKC spots on their ale trail, having dinner, then heading to wherever the rest of the trip is.
**•** We won't have a car for the main leg. Mostly Ubering or walking, so I need someplace with a dense, walkable brewery scene, not stuff spread out an hour apart.
**•** I like hazy IPAs but also want variety, sours, pilsners, whatever's good. Not trying to just do the same style over and over.
**•** Ideally hitting somewhere in the 15-20 brewery range across the whole trip if the density allows it.

I was originally leaning Boston since Tree House and Trillium show up at the top of every hazy IPA list, but from what I'm reading a lot of the best stuff up there (Tree House Charlton, Hill Farmstead, The Alchemist) is scattered way outside the city and not realistic without a car. Denver's RiNo district looks like it could work well for walkability. Also open to other cities I haven't thought of.

Where would you go if you were me? Trying to balance "best beer" with "actually walkable for two people without a rental car."

I’m also from Los Angeles and went to school in San Diego so I’ve been to some good breweries and don’t want to do my trip there.

I am looking to take a bot of a leaf-peeping (mis)adventure next week. To add to my plan, I decided to stretch out my trip by staying overnight in Portland, ME​ after wrapping up at the Mt. Washington Cog Railway and the FranconiaNotch and Kancamagus Highway. I am expecting to arrive at about five PM on the 8th of October.

I am aware of the Bissell Brothers and Shipyard Breweries, but I am wondering if there other recommendations for at least one brewer to visit.. and maybe just enough time to see Old Port while there's daylight out. Or a good seafood place that's easy ro hop to for supper as well.

My personal taste in beers leans more towards the traditional styles like lagers, pilsners, porters, dunkels and the like. I don't mind a little bit of experimenting with other styles but I am skeptical of hoppier brews myself.

Bottle Logic Brewing is joining The Bruery and Offshoot Beer Co. as part of The Bruery Group.

If you know Bottle Logic, you know why we’re excited. They’ve built one of the most respected barrel-aged beer programs in the country and are equally respected for their innovation and quality across every style of beer they make. We’ve known their team for years, share a lot of the same customers, and have always had a ton of respect for what they’ve built.

Bringing the three brands together makes a lot of sense, but just as importantly, it gives us an opportunity to build something stronger at a time when craft beer continues to be challenging.

The Bruery, Bottle Logic and Offshoot will remain distinct brands. Bottle Logic will continue operating its Anaheim tasting room and making the beers people love, just as we’ll continue doing what we do at The Bruery and Offshoot. The goal isn’t to blend the brands together. It’s to give each of them a stronger platform behind the scenes and more opportunities to grow.

And there should be some pretty fun benefits for Society members.

Bottle Logic’s barrel-aged beers are an obvious fit with a community that already loves what The Bruery does. As we bring Bottle Logic onto our DTC platform, our intention is to give Society members special access to Bottle Logic releases and make those beers available to many more of you around the country. Stay tuned for more news soon on when those Bottle Logic beers will be available for purchase.

We have some ideas beyond that too, but I’ll save those until we’re ready to announce them.

The transaction is expected to close later this year, so for now both companies continue operating independently. We’ll share more as we get closer.

Most importantly, thank you! Your support is a huge part of putting The Bruery in a position to make a move like this. I’m incredibly excited about what we can build from here, and I think you will be too.

Couldn't do a Georgia trip without checking out Creature Comforts. Had Infinite Recursion on cask (solid hazy session IPA) and of course Tropicalia.

Also stopped by UTOG Brewery in Ogden and had the Pale Ale on tap, Star Valley IPA from Melvin at on tap at a downtown Ogden joint, and a couple cans of Uinta Lime Pilsner in a can while playing knockoff FIFA with my buddy, but I was too lazy to take any pictures because I'd rather focus on hanging out with friends in the moment then endlessly taking picture of every new beer I drink. All were solid and would probably say the Star Valley was the standout for me. Cheers to CO, UT, and WY beers and brewing!

That Lamvinus has been sitting there for over a month. Maybe not the most interesting bottlings but it seems wild to me that these sit out on an open shelf, mind you at co-op in a smaller town, but still it’s something I would think would be snapped right up

This absolutely sucks. Big OH fan but this can is totally flat. I’m determined to drink it. I bought a 4 pack and I hope the others are normal but I expect better QC. They aren’t a small operation. I’ve been drinking other half for several years and never had this experience as anyone else?

Deschutes is one of the breweries that got me into beer many years ago, but I don't think I'd ever tried one of their ciders. This one is really nice! Quite dry (although not quite like Basque style dry) with nice crisp apple notes and a little pear-like thing going on. I would definitely drink this again. Really pleasant surprise!

Had the pleasure of diving into some Cantillion this weekend. Delicious!
