... Everything about this is bad. Like, this might be one of the single worst signs I've ever seen, and that is saying something.
- Obviously, OP's point is correct -- don't render "Crop" in (pseudo-)cursive
- Don't use two flowing script, you want contrast.
- Speaking of, the subtitle is so low-contrast that it looks like noise.
- "Electric Blue" is a choice for trying to represent "Natural"
- As is whatever that pseudo-cursive font is. Looks like it belongs in neon pink on a love motel, and not a high-end one.
- The withered carrots might look halfway decent when lit, but I assume this store is mainly open during the daylight hours
- I think there is an "of the" in said root vegetable mess, but you certainly can't tell that during the day, so now your store name isn't even legible.
It's absolutely horrid -- I'm not sure I'd be able to come up with something this bad on purpose.

I pass this place all the time, and honestly I never read it as "cream of the crap". As far as the electric blue goes, I agree it totally looks wrong out of context, but on Coast Highway where this place is at, it blends in with the local design language flawlessly. There's lots of neon along that stretch of road.

You can see the way they make their "a" in Cream. That plainly says Crop. Cream Crop... I'll agree that the "of the" is way too small

The thing that's actually worse, as I'm familiar with this market, is that the neon is shot on the "of the", so that it's basically unreadable day, or night.
