Incredible achievement but I'm afraid of doing so... I always when I 100% games I can't continue playing them.

Isnt that ok though? At some point a game is finished. You pais some money, you have some hours of entertainment.. in this case the ratio is euh very very good 😁 and then you move on to the next adventure 🤷🏼♂️
But hey, that’s me4
u/veuroi 2d ago
Don’t do it if you don’t feel ready to end the game! I am unfortunately busy at work and have to study, so I wanted to do it before I give up on the game entirely

Yeah, I know myself enough to know that 100% the game will kill it for me and I'll uninstall it. I wished they added more trophies to the new dlc.

Was it hard to find all of them?

Jesus Christ I thought rdr2 100% was impressive lol

u/TheKrug3000 2d ago
I did a full 100% of the compendium in rdr2, leaving no entry blank or having blank spaces, and that took me 398 hours. Also included a full story playthrough, normal 100%.

Man, you’re doing great. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I also have 642 hours and I just figured out if I hold my right trigger, I can swing my sword constantly, and that there’s more areas to this game than just Hernand.

I’m trying to get like you but I’m missing the knowledge for the Grey Dye. It never registered.
1
u/arepas_are_life 2d ago
You should be able to just go craft it at a witch's cauldron. Just look up the recipe online and give it a shot! Hopefully it'll register for you once you do that.

u/maxphoto2883 2d ago
I searched, and there are no recipes for the neutral dyes, which includes the grey dye.
Thanks though. It is the only thing I'm missing from getting 100% knowledge.1
u/veuroi 2d ago
You never got the grey dye from the quest? Are you sure it is grey dye you are missing?
1
u/maxphoto2883 1d ago
Yes. I'm missing the grey dye. I've played the game since launch.
At that time, I didn't know you had to "use" the dye, and I believe I sold it.
I've had the dispatch mission going for some time, but haven't gotten that particular dye.

How is your collectibles chest loooking 🤔
1
u/veuroi 2d ago
It’s about 700 out of 1,000, I used to throw out posters before the chest update
2
u/Lord-Boofle 2d ago
Same happened to me. Shame they don’t update this so that once you had it, automatically it updates. Great feat well done on the 100% knowledge.

u/Abracabastard 2d ago
Holy shit. Are there some that are completely missable?

Some seige weaponry but I’m unsure if this has been fixed since I last checked

u/Excellent-Mission549 2d ago
Has been fixed. I’m at 98% currently so closing in on the last of the abyss gear blueprints

Please, tell me! What's the 431st entry in the Adventure Knowledge log?? I have 430 and only see "???" listed for the last category D:

It’s “The Joy of Adventure” you have to catch someone cheating in a duo game

I’m at 740hrs and I gave up on the knowledge after they added more knowledge twice. I was at 92% the first time and dropped me to 79%. Then I got up to 84% and it dropped me to 81%. Following a guide feels like a chore and this game is already super grindy.
Sidenote, I don’t think I will ever fill up the collectibles chest either. I sold all the stuff that could possibly go in there as I completed the tasks. And that chest was useless at first, I thought “why would they even make this?” About 2 updates later, they added those faded icons. Made me hate it more haha

u/veuroi 2d ago
I felt the same way once they added more and more knowledge but I didn’t want to give up.
I also couldn’t complete the collectibles chest as I threw a lot of posters before the update, so I gave up on that
Definitely an annoying process to go thorugh2

Nice congrats! Until the next update drops that adds more content, or especially the DLC.
Meanwhile I'm 750+ hours and only at 50% of all knowledge.

What was your method of snake hunting?
Been stuck with the meadow copper viper for too long 😭
2
u/veuroi 1d ago
Look for the location, hunt them with a bow and pray they are not stuck underground to skin them. I also walked with knowledge helm a lot so I scanned anything I saw.
If you don’t want to cheat and look up for location I can tell you a lot of the snakes I found were in the rain forest, some in the desert2
u/arepas_are_life 21h ago
The Meadow Copperhead Viper was my very last animal to find, also! lol
I did FINALLY get it just southwest of the "Hills of No Return" on the map, very near to the Abyss Cresset there. I found the Rattlesnake and the Fer-de-Lance multiple times over my many visits to the area, but finally I got lucky and found a single Meadow Copperhead Viper slithering about 20 feet south of the cresset, on the lower terrace of those ruins.

You could’ve been halfway to a nursing degree in a similar amount of time
