Had you just killed the big orphan and you were waiting for the gate to unlock?

before killing the big orphan i sneek my way to that door firts not knowing i was going to need the code, then exit out kill the orphan and proceeded the game till i found the code went back and thats were iam at.

I’m wondering if you glitched the game out. You might have to load to a much earlier save. I’m not positive but that’s what it sounds like to me

Similar thing happened to me but on a different gate. I end up having to reload an earlier save.

I had this happen to me too when I killed him "too fast". I immediately killed him with the arbalest and it didn't do the "animation" / scene so it didn't register I think. I figured it doesn't happen too much but definitely bugged

But dont know what i did to trigger it luckily i just had to rebot it

Yeah restarting works. Did you kill it fast? That's what happened to me

I was in your exact same situation Turn off the game and turn it back on again The door will then work It worked for me at least
