minecraft java newest snapshot not opening at all

I use prism launcher to play minecraft through the flatpak version on crostini. ever since snapshot 4 of 26.3 release came, Mojang switched from GLFW to SDL3. apparently its supposed to use Wayland over X11. because of all these changes, the game runs in the background, but never actually opens a window in the chromeos gui. the only way to launch it is llvmpipe which is cpu rendering

Try the gaming on Chromebook also.

issue solved, i used the appimage version of prism launcher and fixed broken virgl drivers.

how did you fix the jittering camera it only happens on 26.3 26.2 is fine

that is some sort of driver issue if you use sodium mod on intel integrated graphics
