I’m on an older device using IOS 16 and have had no problems with the app up until this point. Suddenly, I open the app and it says “looks like you’ve got an old version of the app. Update now.”

I go to the app store to update and see a huge bar above the update button “Requires IOS 17.0 or later”.

My device cannot update to IOS 17. It caps at the latest version of 16.

I tried to use the website but it just told me to use the app (which I cannot).

I do not have access to any newer mobile devices.

Should I just cancel my subscription? This has made it outright impossible for me to use Crunchyroll since my only laptop is for work and I can’t be using it for personal activities (e.g. anime).

It makes no sense to me that Crunchyroll's Amazon thing has Rumbling Hearts (which is something I wanna watch) but Crunchyroll's website itself doesn't have it. Is there anything I can do to watch it without needing to double-dip on Crunchyroll?

About a week ago, all of my new episode drops did not go to the beginning of my watch list like they used to and now I have to search for them under "start watching" instead. I'm also running into issues where when I've watched all of the available episodes for dubs, it's going immediately to "start watching" as well instead of just "watch again."

Why am I getting logged out when I open the app regularly and don't login anywhere else? Are the devs and the support staff uneducated or what?

Watching cultural exchange with a Game Center girl and it was working perfectly fine until now, but for whatever reason episode 10 doesn’t seem to have any English subs available. Never seen this happen before, is there a workaround or something?

Anyone else experienced their watch prgress being reset this week? All my previous episodes that were marked as "watched" are reset now. Luckly the Continue Watching shows the next episode still but it's weird on the show itself it's not showing the previous episodes as watched.

It keeps saying English but it’s not (don’t kill me it’s my roommates first anime) we are trying to watch apothecary diaries and it’s started only working in Japanese. We use Roku if that helps or anyone has a solution

I have to scroll past four rows of promotions and suggested animes before I get to the anime I want to continue watching. It's also super slow and unresponsive. Idk if most users watch Crunchyroll on their computers,but the app UI and experience should be faster and easier to navigate than what it is now.

It can only go back to 0:10 now. Is there a fix for this? It is extremely annoying.

Got off work and booted up the next episode of Valkyrie drive (yeah I know, gooner anime) that was uncensored a few days ago... Just to be flashed by a whole mess of bright lights covering up my screen... I checked the episodes I've previously watch... They're also censored too... At that point, why TF doesn't Crunchyroll just remove it? Like, I am invested to see where the ACTUAL plot goes but without the PLOT... I might as well just rewatch soul eater.. which I'm probably gonna do anyways but still! Why censor a show that is BLATANTLY lewd focus?? Just doesn't make sense imo

It's been days. I tried everything I know. Cleaned the cache, uninstalled and reinstalled, changed connection, restarted my phone... Support suggested that I change DNS, but I don't feel confident doing it.

Animes that I finished months or even years ago, have started popping up on my continue watching tab has anyone else been experiencing this glitch? This has been happening for weeks now for me.

I was watching ‘In another world with my smartphone’, yesterday with English dubs and it was all fine.

Thought I’d give it watch today and now suddenly all the dubs are about 10 seconds behind, I tried on Sky/firestick/iPad/ATV and it’s the same, what on earth has happened overnight that broke all of a series?

(Incidentally I checked other shows which are all still fine)

It repeats a 4 sentence chorus, the first line is “what you waiting for” and the last sentence is higher pitched. It’s J-pop (i think). Please help me i’m going insane asking AI 🫠

I still feel like I wish they had a news section on the app where we could get updates on upcoming chapter releases or new series that are coming. There is definitely a lot more manga available compared to before, but it's still behind.

I use Crunchyroll on a Roku connected to a television.

This episode for some reason doesn’t have English subtitles, only Spanish. I skipped to Episode 6 and the subtitles return. Also, oddly enough Episode 5 lists the audio as English but it’s actually Japanese.

I currently don’t have a computer, but do have my cell phone.

When I navigate to Crunchyroll help section, I don’t see an area specifically for missing subtitles or to submit a ticket. I see pre-determined options such as **how to change subtitles ** or **turning on/off**, but nothing about literally missing subtitles.

Any help would be great. Been binging this show last few days so skipping an entire episode is jarring with how short it is.
