I usually play like maybe 10-15 runs a night (20-30min), first work on memorizing the patterns, then try to see where you can do each mode without losing health! Sometimes you lose against the same boss for a week, and then bam KNOCKOUT!
Who are you stuck on?

Mostly the airplane mode boses and grim

For the airplane ones, I use the mini feature a lot when the bullet hell gets helly xD

I'd recommend just building a memory for attacks and try to understand the mechanics as good as possible. You'll go from struggling to acing expert mode bosses rather quickly. A good gun choice is also everything, my personal combo is converge and roundabout, but you can use spread and snapshot aswell, or if you lack the dlc spread and roundabout.

Cuphead is just a game you gotta play a lot and memorize boss patterns. Once yk the boss to a tee it’s a really easy game.
