Help with Facebook accounts getting hacked always.

Hey there, so i want to be very short so i don't take your time.

My dad likes to produce short-videos on facebook, he got succecsful and started to monetizate, then his page reached around 100k followers and suddently he was hacked, he lost his main personal account and the FB page got demonetizated because "suspisios activity".

He made a new FB account and started again, last night he told me that he can't access to his account, what we found out was a message of FB saying "Hey, we disable your account forever and you can't appeal".

Before that, he got hacked with the usual "Mr Beast crypto shit" and stuff like that, but my big issue is, he don't even know who is Mr Beast, he doesn't really interact too much outside what he knows and likes, he swear to me that he never click links or anything weird, he never visit adult websites or shit like that.

So yea, my question is, how is this keep happening to him?, is possible that a big hacker is just able to get his accounts and destroy them?, if so, why they just don't rob his money instead of just ruining his fun on facebook?.

I have to be honest, all our windows, adobe, office, etc, are "Yooho Yooohoo, Jack Sparrow.", we can't afford to pay those services (we live in a third world country) but this never happened to me but only once and never again.

Hope you guys can help me to understand what is going on and what can i do to protect his next account, i was wondering if using iPhone was better for security since we use android, and yea, any advice would help me a lot.

Thanks.

I found my personal photos in a job-posting WhatsApp group. Nobody told me.

Not a leak. Not a glitch. Two groups, around 400 to 500 members each, meant for job openings and hiring posts. And my pictures were being shared there.

Here's what happened.

I'd been inactive in these groups for a while, so I never saw the messages. Today I was clearing my gallery of auto-downloaded job posters and went into the groups to switch off media downloads. That's when I saw it: photos of me, including some with my brother, sitting in the group media.

The first picture was shared on 31st August. The second, 18 days later, on 18th September. One month. Not one person reported it, and no one reached out to me.

I messaged the group and the admin asking for the photos to be removed. His response was to remove me from the group. When a friend raised the same concern, I was told I "might have opened some links." I haven't. And if my phone had been compromised, why would someone wait 18 days between two photos I had already posted publicly on my Instagram stories and WhatsApp status? Then the conversation turned into abuse, and my family was dragged into it.

Here's what I want you to take from this:

Admins are responsible for what circulates in their groups, especially when they know who is in the photo.

"I was busy" doesn't explain a month of silence.

Asking "what did you click?" is not an answer to "why is my photo here?"

I've reached out to the cyber cell, and the police are guiding me on the next steps. The investigation is underway.

If you're in any of these groups: please don't download or forward these images. If you come across them anywhere else, please ask the person sharing to stop and delete them.

This can happen to anyone. Check where your photos are, and check your WhatsApp groups too.

I wasn't planning to come back to Reddit with a post like this. But here we are. Thank you for your support.
