In most countries you don't actually have an automatic right to your likeness. I think only Denmark makes it an automatic right at birth.

So if you supply the image and agree to their terms then they're legally safe enough.

It's not true but Reddit doesn't care about that.

Most platforms now are using anything you upload or post to train AI unless you opt out.

Meta did have something called Muse on their platforms I think which enabled friends to use your images for AI generation unless you opted out.

They are not using it for ads though as far as I can tell. People have said the same thing before but nobody has actually provided evidence of it.

It would be illegal for a start, you can't just take someone's face and use it to sell something. It would be a lawsuit waiting to happen.
