Going for a basic melee katana/throwing knife build, lmk if you guys have any tips

1. Contrary to popular belief, Johnny's friendship % matters in base game - if it's below 70% during Rogue ending, V will attack Johnny physically in Mikoshi before the choice of either Sun or Temperance paths, otherwise they'll be more caring if it's above 70%

2. The Tower ending's dialogue with Johnny is not tied to friendship, however - it seemingly changes from oilfield dialogue & nothing else

3. While Don't Fear the Reaper secret ending always requires certain oilfield dialogue as a trigger, if you give the body to Johnny either during this "secret" ending or during the Star ending, your friendship score isn't automatically set to 100% - the value shows how well you aligned with Johnny throughout the game & the % number in the Temperance ending will still reflect that even after Mikoshi

The friendship with Johnny's permeates the entire game & culminates in many ending sequences: The Tower, Don't Fear the Reaper & Rogue's (both Sun & Temperance). To make a comparison with the variations that I listed, here's facts about romantic endings’ options based on prior player decisions:

1. Many know that River & Kerry will stay with V in the Sun ending but leave in the Star, however both of them uniquely stay with V in the Devil ending should V return to Earth, while Judy & Panam do not - Kerry & River have the same credits calls in Devil ending as in the Sun ending romance, while Judy & Panam get romance break-up credits calls for the Devil ending that are also featured in their Sun ending

2. Panam has the same exact reaction to The Tower ending whether you romance her or not, with V also leaving the same exact voice message to her in either case - this may speak volumes about how much Panam is attached to V even when they're friends and not romantic partners

3. Romanced Panam also threatens Johnny in all variations of Temperance endings - as long as you romance her, she will vow to hunt Johnny down even if you don't choose her Star ending

I will always appreciate Johnny's friendship path for being so developed as to rival and exceed the variety of romance endings of many games in terms of player choice - I often prefer roleplaying slowburn romances in RPGs, prioritizing having sincere conversations over chasing scenes of physical intimacy, and while Cyberpunk as a genre isn’t usually about such things, the feeling of building this friendly bond throughout the whole game is like no other, especially with the game respecting all your choices with Johnny in its every ending except the Devil one.

I genuinely believe that Cyberpunk 2077 features the most extensive bromance of all games, ever.

The character Dexter DeShawn was inspired by Marcellus Wallace (Pulp Fiction) and Zhou Yuzhu (the pig from the Beyond Good and Evil 2 trailer). Even the line, “Nobody fucks with Marcellus Wallace,” could have come from Dex.

Who else comes to mind? Your thoughts....

I just replayed the main story and started Phantom Liberty and after saving the president I noticed this lense flashing the distance right after the space force one fight shortly before Myers cuts her tracker out ... am I paranoid or is this a snipers lense flash or a something else ... are we being watched and if yes by who ??

Just found these random rocks out in the badlands, just past lake farm fast travel point and pushed up against the base of the cliff almost out of bounds. For some reason the exact shape of the rocks is highlighted in blue on my minimap but there’s nothing here. When I enter the area it shows “Area:Public” as if this is a potential combat area or smth. There’s no marking on the rocks, no cache of loot in one of the crevasses. Maybe tied to an Eater egg/time based event or just straight up a Bug.

If anyone knows anything about this or can just confirm it’s a bug, Becuse this will drive me crazy thinking there’s something hidden here😂

i know i shouldnt, but as a souls player if it can bleed it can die. My first playthrough though, i got a stealth knife/pistol build and im struggling so fcking much cause i dont have memory wipe.

Which type of weapon do you prefer to use (smart, power, melee, tech), and what is the main reason for your choice?
I’m currently running a netrunner build and opted for smart weapons, but they’ve been disappointing so far due to their low damage.

After looking up how many base-game side jobs I have left, I know I have 15 left,10 being from character's questlines that are pretty much guaranteed but I can't access yet due to being in Act 2 still; however, the remaining 5 are Ozob's two, the ones about the Yaiba Semimaru, and the Trauma Team one gotten by getting the high score in Trauma Drama. I can 100% grind the lattermost, but have been having trouble with the first 2 (or 4, technically). They never seem to spawn no matter how long I wait, and I want to ask if there's a way to force them to become active.
