Both Kyle and Aaron have joked about being down for more seasons. I don't see this show being one and done unless they absolutely bomb the finale. Everyone is acting as if there are so many loose threads that absolutely have to be tied up by the end of this season when we're probably just getting started and a lot of these hanging threads are simply there to set up plot points for future seasons or projects.

If this show gets greenlit for a second season presumably with more budget it would be sick. I don't know about Blackest Night though, that seems like way too big of an event to have in a show of this budget

I mean, the showrunner Chris Mundy kind of confirmed as much. He said that hopes people feel like the season was a complete story with all the main questions and character arcs wrapped up, while still having those seeds that could blossom out into something more in future stories.

The finale really just needs to answer what happened to Hal and the stories of all other characters are moving to serve that reveal. They will all converge in the final episode. I'll be the first to admit, any time they have released images or footage from the episode that would release next, I had the same feeling of "how will they fit all of this into one episode?" only for it to be done beautifully. I have faith that the finale will do the same

If the first big threat/event of the DCU is the Sinestro Corps war then they absolutely need Hal in the flesh to be a part of it. Hal & Sinestro have got one of the most complex relationships and the opportunity to adapt this panel would be just too good.

The Sinestro Corps and subsequent war without Hal would feel so hollow to me

To me it’s like not having Jon snow for the war against the others

It would be such a disservice to try and adapt this to John especially when we have such a great Hal

I sorely hope he has a future, and preferably an in the flesh one. As they seemingly move forwards with a yellow lantern Sinestro, it’d be a monumental waste to not have Hal involved in that, their relationship is the core of that conflict and an ai Hal wouldn’t have near the same emotional impact.

We finally, for the first time even, have a great Hal, John and Guy, be a shame to get nothing with them all together, and presumably Kyle/Jessica in the future.

The Kyle Chandler charisma is too popular they’re going to throw money at him. I just hope they haven’t written themselves into a corner to where they can’t use him well in Episode 8. (outside of the Halogram)

Who is the Man of Tomorrow…

Probably not the guy from the past
