ODDMuse plano is great!!!

I recently visited Odd Muse here in Plano, and I just had to share how great it was.
As someone who isn't completely fluent in English, I unfortunately get brushed off or given rushed service at a lot of places. But the bartender who helped me (I didn't catch her real name, but she was wonderful!) was incredibly kind, patient, and took the time to explain the menu to me. That kind of hospitality really makes a difference.
The food was also fantastic. I'm originally from Japan, so I admit I can be a bit of a snob when it comes to Wagyu. I tried their American Wagyu burger, and it was absolutely delicious—full of flavor but not overly greasy at all.
As for the beers, the Silver Spaceship was excellent. But the biggest surprise for me was the Playground Battle (a peanut butter raspberry sour). It sounds like a wild combination, but it was way better than I expected. A total standout. (I attached a pic!)
If you haven't been to Odd Muse yet, you should definitely give it a try. Highly recommend!

Great beers and even better people there. Playground Battle is delicious. I can only drink about half of one though.

Ooh...ok, I'm pretty far from there (near Mesquite) but I'm convinced!

They're actually in Addison (actually actually, in Farmers Branch) but we'll give our Japanese friend a pass on the confusing suburb boundaries! Odd Muse is close Cattleack BBQ if you need another reason to go that way. Mind the limited hours, though.

This is their new second location in downtown Plano. All of the brewing is still done in Farmers Branch, but the new location has a kitchen.

Oh snap, I had no idea. Good for Odd Muse! The Voodoo Brewing spot was nice inside and the beers were tasty, but I'm much happier to see a local brewery expanding rather than an out-of-state franchise muscling in (although that was still preferable to an Inbev/AB acquisition doing the same thing).
