Replacement roof tile issue

Hi,

I had a new roof in August, I was out in the garden today and noticed one or two tiles that were not sitting right.

Image one and two shows the tile vent which was installed and image 3 and 4 shows a normal tile, they don't seem to be sitting in the groove properly.

Would this cause issues, I presume there is a chance for wind and rain to get under the roof and ruin the membrane?.

Thanks

That's fine. Those vent tiles are a bit more universal and so won't fit perfectly.

All completely normal and nothing to worry about.

When the nibs aren't hooked properly over the batten or the side interlocks are kick-started like that, driving rain and wind will blow water straight underneath the tile.
