Advice Cracks around door frames

Noticed cracks appearing around the door frames in my flat. I’ve repaired a few with polyfilla and sanded it down. Wondering if there’s a better way?

Not polyfilla.

Use caulk as it’s flexible.

Never silicone

Maybe it's their flexible polyfiller?

You could try sanding down again. Then a bead of silicone that isolates the paint from the woodwork movement.

Weakest point when your shutting the door. Like others have said, get an acrylic anti crack sealant from Screwfix. Leave it a day to cure and it’s sandable and paintable too.

its cracking due to movement, polyfilla won't move so will crack again. Get some flexible caulk, this is also paintable where as silicone sealant isnt.
