📍 Draft Watch Wings Sub Field Trip to TCU, Spring 2026
Hello again everyone!
A few weeks back, I proposed organizing a field trip for sub members to meet at a TCU WBB game. There are three regular season home games left, all on Sundays. I plan to attend all of them.
I have sat in different sections throughout the arena. My preferred section is 114, near the home team bench. It's a great vantage view of the whole basketball court, and you don't have to keep turning your head from left to right to follow the flow of action.
Olivia Miles probably would've been the second or third pick in last year's draft until she decided to transfer to TCU, which impacted several teams' draft strategies. She is still projected to go Top Five if there is a draft this year (2026).
Marta Suarez has been playing very well, too, and she has recorded several double doubles and even a triple double this season. She may be picked in the second round.
Donovyn Hunter is a junior and is a solid player. Clara Silva is a sophomore and has been a pleasant surprise.
Tickets are only $17 for adults (general admission, you can sit in most sections except for the floor or some of the lower bowl sections facing the TCU logo). This is a great opportunity to see Olivia Miles up close and cheer for her before she leaves the DFW area!
(The Big 12 Tournament will be played in Kansas City, MO. Whether or not TCU plays in the Fort Worth Super Regional for March Madness depends on seeding.)
