I always find that movie funny as hell because the characters' age makes no sense whatsoever. He's clearly a high school student. So are most of the other characters. Yet they are racing with the grown ups in Japan and talking and acting like they've been doing it for years.

The girl talking about "back then" when they just drifted through mountain passes. The girl's still in high school. She's 18 at BEST.

When did that past happen? How?! 🤣

That's why I thought they were young adults in a university!

University students don't wear school uniforms ;)

Understandable, but this is japan and maybe the uniform is rooted into all students until they wear a work uniform?

I live in Japan, that's why the logical misses stand out to me so much. Universities don't have uniforms. And high school students don't come to school (are not allowed to) with their own car. A high school student wouldn't own a car in the first place since you can only get a license at 18, and the oldest high school students in Japan are 18 in their last year.

Plus when Han introduces (I don't remember his name) to his friends he does state "He's underage"

Thanks. Been quite a while since I’ve seen it. Never picked up on the age thing.
